Well - I've managed to go Saturday and today spending £1 on bus fare! Today will be a NSD! Yesterday had lunch and dinner around my parents and breakfast and a mid afternoon roast here today! My mom is also sending me away with home made soup, an extra portion of Roast for tmw night and bits and pieces of food to keep me going until next pay day!! Not working at weekends is hitting me hard
Have applied for my first mystery shop though, which is just an email and I'll get paid £7 if I get accepted!! Thought it'd be a good one to start off with as they'd be hard copies to remind me! Need to sort out being self employeed if I get accepted though, but I'll do that sometime this weekRight going to have another look for evening jobs!!

hi, well done on spending so little yesterday and having a NSD today, it's trying sometimes isn't when you feel all you do is sit indoors and do nothing, but the only good thing about it is that it means you're not adding to your debt and you're reducing it. Sorry to hear there's no shifts at the pub, it must be frustrating especially if you like working.
You may not always be able to see it but you are doing very well, and those that have been on your diary from the start have noticed how you've changed and how your decisions on things have changed.0 -
Thanks - I'm ok normally as work is almost socialising!! Luckily I'm working this Friday so that's going to get me back on track hopefully and keep me entertained as well! Having the internet back at home is going to be a big help as well! Well it's about 2 weeks until pay day again so if I can get through that without spending much then I've got nothing planned for March except my Mom's birthday and a will have a night away with OH in wales... will just have to pay for accommodation which is a treat but we're not doing Valentines so this is kind of instead!! Anyhow today I had to get some food in as having friend over tonight so doing Spag Bol, got loads of food from Mom though so the rest of the week should be NSD's!!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270

hey i know what you mean about money, i can't wait to start my next job being paid hourly is awful you never know what you going to get one week to the next, i took some holiday the week before last and thought i'd make the hours up and then got snowed in last week and couldn't get into london so i was down 9 hours before i'd started :-(
you are doing well on all the other bits and pieces though! i'm going to try the Mystery shopping site at home - the training doesn't seem to work on my work computer.TOTAL: (1.9.2008) £[strike]20,971.00[/strike] (02.12.10)£11,006.07£9,262.93 Paid off (Since LBM)Debt Free Date [strike]2021[/strike] 2015Savings £100 Dec NSD 11/20, Sealed pot challenger 1043:xmassign:0 -
Let me know how you get on with the Mystery Shopping! I've not heard anything about the job I applied for yet, I think I'll log onto the sites tonight later on and check out what's pending!!
Got paid just over £2 from my Quidco account am going to go and do another Go Compare quote now so that I can pick up another £2, I can do 5 in total so that'll be £10 in a couple of months! Have done a few surveys and got points as well these last days, miles off being able to claim anything from them though but I'm sure they'll come in handy in a couple of months time! Applied for a dog walking job and some admin jobs for the evening, no-one has come back to me at the moment, don't know whether to have a think about bar work, but I don't want to work late on work nights!!
Have managed to not spend any money on lunches for ages now thoughHad left over KFC from Sunday (which OH treated me to) with curry rice (from Mom) for lunch today... going to have to think something new up for tmw though if I'm going to continue the no spend!!

Hey sweet, just want to say keep up the good work... it's all looking really good!
Have been terribly busy lately so I'm really sorry I've not stopped by to see how you are getting on (or updating my own diary - but I've been trying to keep good - that's the thing... without popping by every day, you seem to loose the will to come in and let people know how things are... luckily though, I seem to be ok!)
Speak soon!0 -
Hey it's all abit up and down still! It's so frustrating not being able to do anything - I know I'll be happier at the end of this when I've paid off the debt but it feels like a long time still to go! Oh well under 2 weeks until Pay Day - made a £50 payment to my MBMA card today so all bills sorted except for £50 Travel Card to come out this month!
My Bank is on the line of my overdraft (but not in my reserve) and I have £60 in my purse. Owe my sister £20 from ages ago which I'm going to pay so £40 for 2 weeks! Plenty! Also I work this weekend on Friday so I'll pick up some money then as well!!
Still not sure of what is happening at the weekend, might be going Derby, might not! Either way my OH will pay... got a nice email off him yesterday apologising for stressing me out about money (He was suggesting staying at hotel in Derby) Sometimes he realises how little money I have and other times it just seems to be forgotten! Oh well all sorted, feel a lot less stressed when I don't spend money so that's what I've got to doDebt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -

Hey All,
Am Feeling really stressed at work - need to get out of here but I want to hang on for bonus at end of March, even if it's only small it's something!! Got a 1 2 1 today so going to bring up whether I can move departments, maybe a change will help me stick it for a little bit longer!? Have applied for a job at the NEC for next Tues - Fri would get £60 a day (less tax) and would just take holiday from here! Would get me about an extra £200 and I don't really care about losing a bit of holiday!! I think once all this debt is out of the way I'm going to think about temping, I like constant change and I get so bored of the same thing every day!? Is that sensible in this climate though?
