Well an update on my weekend - went hen party.. stuck within my budget of £20, then at 10pm went to work, wasn't busy so they paid me until 2am then I went back and joined the end of the party and stayed at friends which saved me taxi!! So made £25.
Saturday Day then met up with my Mom in town, she brought lunch and I brought a double plug and a birthday present (total £4) went to my Granny's, she gave me a packet of biscuits to take away (which I'm using for lunches) then went round my parents and ate dinner there!
Sunday was a NSD as OH picked me up - met friends and went Nature Centre which OH paid for and then went back to his as parents are away and he cooked Lasagne.
Have not heard back from Equita yet about why they were trying to phone!? and no further phone calls oddly enough! Still waiting for internet at home so I can start my ebaying but have tonight to tidy up the house and then tuesday to get some items together for ebaying/clothes swapping
Anyhow don't really have a lot to write, feel like I'm coping so long as I don't spend any money NSD again today!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
Ok - I feel quite inspired, my target of paying off CC's by May is still do-able (originally the snowball said July) I've got the snowball down to saying June, so if I work hard and do the £10 a day challenge for these next months then I reckon that I can manage it!! I'm really concentrating on NSD's as well! Am on my third in a row , though as OH is coming round for dinner tmw will have to make something nicer then average... I have chicken and sausage so thinking of making a Jambalya with that - just have to buy some peppers then and I think I have all the other spices and ingredients!!
Have arranged for a clothes swap next Monday as well with friends... I know I could probably ebay my clothes and get some money but I want to start by seeing if anyone I know wants them first! What goes around comes around as they say, so if they're throwing clothes in future then hopefully I'll get first dabs!!
Tonight is just another night at home - will maybe try and sort out some clothes or something like that, try and go gym on the way home as well.. feel like life is very bland at the moment, no ups and no downs either at least, it'll get better once I've got my internet back and can start making money!!!Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
Well I've done a go compare quote and viewed my experian report on Quidco so should have earnt £2.50 from that this lunch... something at least! Wish I could get on Bingo/Scratchcard sites at work!!
With the experian report do I have to cancel? It won't take anything from my Card will it??Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
Really disliking my job at the moment - I've just double checked and if I get a bonus then it's be in my March Payslip, I'm thinking then that I'll start looking for jobs in a month's time, I think it's only likely to be an extra £200, but thinking that it's worth hanging around for still due to my bar work drying up again (No word on whether I'm working this week yet
) Really not looking forward to the weekend. I have no money to spend and as I'm not working then I have nothing to do and am going to be quite lonely! Think it'd be better if I had the internet at least! Oh well have my chq book with me today to write off to Cap 1 on my lunch for getting all my charges back from them got to watch that I've got £10 in my bank for the chq to come out though! Might write the letter and post it all off on Friday when I'm more aware of my working situation!
Oh well it's all going to be worth it come May time

So I'm feeling a bit low today... money is bad and I'm getting really lonely being at home by myself all the time as I can't afford to go out! So decided that I'm applying for a 3rd job to do on the evenings, have sent off a few emails to gumtree ads!
Fingers crossed someone wants to hire me - because I am so fed up at the moment!!

Awh hun - sorry you are feeling low. We all have those days. I'm having one today as well. At home, off work feeling like poo. But on the flip side it does mean another NSD! Really must update my sig, but can't be arsed at the mo! Just watching flog it - hoping that there will be something on there that my OH has that I can then sell! Oooh how naughty - but I'm not sure he would even notice if I did! lol
Don't go working yourself into the ground! It would be handy to have something in reserve though in case the bar work dries up altogether!
Off to cook dinner now as OH has been at work and I feel I should do something to make up for being at home all day.

I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
Well feeling a bit better today - I'm definitely not working on the weekend which is a bit of a bummer, got a friends bday meal tonight as well - I've chosen a meal for under £8 and am going to drink water (My friend i'm going with is driving so at least I won't be alone!)
Last night I sorted out my clothes as well... sounds like a simple task but I have a lot, took me 4 hours, though managed a cup of coffee and watched Monster in Law on Film 4 whilst doing it as well (so about 3.5 hours haha!) totally sorted except for the clothes in the loft now!! Feel much better having that sorted I have a full wardrobe to wear instead of black bags of clothes which I have no idea what's in them!!
Also sorted out things to give away/ebay so once I finally get this Laptop charger through (I ordered from Hong Kong as cheap!) I'll be able to put them online!!
Right I don't know whether I'll get to log on this weekend as I have no plans at the moment!? Wish it wasn't snowing still as I would cycle to my parents!!
PS I enjoy working so it won't be too hard work to get another jobDebt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
Sorry to hear you're not working this weekend. I bet it's hard not knowing if you've got a concrete amount of hours to work every week.
I second it's very boring being at home! I have lots of jobs to do, such as decorating, but it's so cold I don't have the get-up-and-go to do them! When the sun is shining, it gives me energy!
