Thanks for lovely comments on my blog you guys!! I'm so glad I did that wedding photo album cos they really were overjoyed with it and it made all the effort worth it!! They said it was one of the best presents ever! :j

Re: my embossed thanks card - thanks for lovely comments - the embossing is lovely isn't it - I'm afraid I can't take the credit as I have yet to invest in a 'cuttlebug' or the like!! I bought a 'bumper pack' of papers from The Works last week just so I could join in this challenge!! Yay!! And it contained the lovely white embossed paper I've used! There are quite a few small sheets of it so guess I'll be making loads of card with it! :D

I love the pocket cards - they are so much easier than I thought they were going to be!

Rusty - your pocket card looks lovely - really really pretty paper!! :T

I still have some challenge cards to do I think - have been getting a little confused I have to admit!!

I got really confused this month with challenges too, so glad it wasn't just me, thought I was losing it ;)

The papers on the card for Rainmac are either My minds eye, or bloom and grow, can't remember which pack I took them out of without looking, but I would probably say bloom and grow, I remember the paper was double sided but seemed to match :)

I think it might be Wild Asparagus by My Minds Eye. My friend and I bought a pack of each of the 2 new MME ones and swapped duplicated yesterday. How sad is it when you can name pieces of paper!

Hurrah! My Calico flowers finally arrived minus 1 pack

Oh I've got to lots to catch up :-)
Hope everyone is ok, I've had a horrible day, had to go to the doctors today won't go into details as this is a card making thread but they did want to admit me into hospital but I refused point blank, I don't feel ill but I've got some stomach problems, they sent me straight down for urgent tests so I have to go back first thing in morning and in the meantime if I'm sick or the pain gets worse I've got to go straight to casualty :-( I'm trying to keep myself occupied this evening so I'll sleep this evening! Just off to have a look at the blogs x

evening all, and happy belated birthdays to Lei and Alee, sorry I've not had time to post for a couple of days but I have been reading. Would you beleive I've got a week's holiday from work this week yet I've been even busier than usual, I don't get it!!

npsmama I'm so pleased you liked your ATC, it's much better than my normal standard of cards! you asked where I got the tiny buttons from that I used on the card, I got them free with Cross Stitcher a while back, I've been trying to find some more online for a while but the only place I've found so far is ebay!

the wife love your funky fairies card, its very funky ;)

and well done dragonllew on winning the FF challenge!! :j

craftygranny Kaitlyn is too cute - you must tell her to show us all pictures of the cards she makes :)

louby I love your challenge card, the swirly embossing is lovely

rusty don't give up too easily, sometimes I don't make cards for weeks on end as I have no ideas then they all seem to come at once xx your pocket card for rainmac is beautiful! :T

popkins lovley pocket card on your blog :T

We're off to Cardiff tomorrow for the day, then on to Bath on friday, anyone know of any good crafty shops in either of those areas? we're going to visit Cardiff castle and the Roman Baths, I love historical places so I'm very excited :) and trying to squeeze in a bit of craft shopping too lol

Thanks for all the congratulations on winning the funky fairys challenge can't remember who ask if I won a prize but yes I got to choose a download so off to have a look at the ones I have to choose from.
Hels sorry your not feeling well hope all is better soon.
Rusty I hope your mojo comes back soon it is horrible when you just sit and stare at all the lovely papers and can't seem to put anything together it will come back.

Rainmac - the Papermill shop is quite decent. They have loads of card, but the one in Liverpool is small, I only pop in now and then!!

Craftygranny - I blame the Oh - he wants him to be born on or after Friday so that his starsign is Leo like his - looks like he is going to get his wish!!

Hels - sorry you've had a rubbish day - hope you feel better soon.

Not sure if it is any use to anyone but Home Bargains have a Graffix card making kit with over 250 embellishments to make cards for birthdays, get well soon, wedding etc for 4.99. It comes in a nice box and also has cards and envelopes in.
