You sure you not hanging on trying to make this baby a christmas one . pmsl
gemm she's very proud of her creations and i will be putting them on her blog as soon as she knows people have them. She's quite good with colours etc but always asks for help as she hates it if things aren't stuck straight .Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
New challenge finish birth sampler by end of the month
No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
I got really confused this month with challenges too, so glad it wasn't just me, thought I was losing it
Oh I'm glad its not just me then LOL!!
I still have to make the CP mystery card - I haven't missed the deadline have I? - that ones got me a bit flummuxed I have to say - how do I make a card that doesn't look like I've done it?!! EEK!!
I'm going to try and do the Funky Fairies challenge this time if I get round to it!!
Feeling a bit rough today - really hoping I haven't got swine flu!! If don't feel any better tomorrow or feel worse gonna ring my GP - its got me a bit worried cos I've got Fibro so really don't need the complication!! :eek:0 -
:grouphug: for hels, hope you're ok through the night
:grouphug: for saveapenny, hope she's ok.
I'd ask for a hug for my poor nose, it seems to have become incontinent but who wants to go there? Where would I be without Kleenex Balsam tissues, who nose? Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
I have had my beautiful pocket card from Gemm and when I am a bit more organised I will post a pic over on CP thanks Gemm xxx0

Where on earth has the week gone
.
I had great plans what I was going to do while DD was at her dad's but so far I've done nowt - in fact I've done less than in a normal week.
Hugs to everyone who needs them - hope saveapenny is ok and that you're looking after yourself hels - you're not the only one who needs a tap on their nose wifey wifey - OH is sat here sniffing and snuffling as is the cat :rotfl:. It's just his normal hay fever related stuff but a pound to a penny if he rang the doctors they would tell him he has the pig lurgy.
My shoulder is just about ok now - touch a waist high piece of wood but tripped over my mouse wire this afternoon and managed to twist my hip and bang my finger on the wall - OH fell around in fits of laughter - typical!
Have been looking out things to alter for my craft stash and have 4 so far  should keep me busy - am off in the bath now - sleep tight everyone and have a lurgy free ThursdayOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Mornin All
After being tired yesterday thought I would have an early night, then wide awake at 5am this morning. Birds are twittering and DH snoring so decided to get up. First lot of washing in already and dishwasher to empty in a minute. Need to go and see the oldies this morning and will take them some fresh salad stuff out of the garden, looks like a bumper year for cucumbers!
Tried to make a card last night, got all the bits cut and arranged on my mat and it looked ok then disaster struck, the first piece I stuck on was a bit wonky so tried to peel it back a bit and no chance so in the bin it went. Closely followed by a card I embossed with my new frame folder and tried to highlight with ink pad like they did on tv the other day...no chance.. so gave up and watched tv instead.
Paddingtondoo I hope youre not too bruised this morning after your trip0 -
Morning flourgirl :hello:, we are off to an indoor play place today, then to the dentist, boys getting their hair cut and I am dropping off the nappy cakes I've made up this week.
Hels, so sorry to hear you are under par, make sure you rest and hope you get sorted very soon xxx
Padster, I agree this week is going quickly. I have a bit of a list going with the card challenges I'd like to enter but I haven't made one single card all week (lots of wedding cards for my order but none of my own). If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Its Willows 6th birthday next week and we have a 10foot trampoline in the garage at the moment, good job its in the box or might be tempted to have a go... maybe not a pretty site probably end up with 2 black eyes lol. Thanks for the info re mini pens can't find anything on ebay only coloured ink, but, I'm going to Matalan this morning and Staples is next door
