Gah! Bah! Humbug! why does the elastictrickery always go off when you're in the middle of summat important. Five times today, ok it comes straight back on but that's not the point. Tsk! (stamps foot, folds arms and a look that could curdle milk)
Thanks for the help, JHB, I'll try and print it, was it from the purple freebies folder?
I'm fairly sure it came from the pink freebies folder.
Re the stamp, the back of the rubber isn't sticky. It's about 2 1/2" square and came with a piece of foam the same size, sticky on one side. I don't even know what EZ mount is, but if you can spare some and tell me what it is, that would be great!
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Jailhousebabe - that was good service - and what a cute freebie. I've recently bought loads of stamps that you need to "back" yourself - they're really easy to do. You take your foam sheet and peel off the backing - it should be sticky - you stick this to your stamp and cut off any excess that you don't need. It doesn't look like it will but the other side then sticks to your acrylic blocks as normal - does that make sense???? So you have everything that you need!!! Can't wait for my doggy images - thanks a bunch!!!!!
Rusty - I think you are being too hard on yourself too, your pocket card is gorgeous (fab papers), and I love my Fat page swap - I love how you've coloured the image in.0 -
Rusty - thats a brilliant card:T
I've never had a go at a pocket card -wouldn't know where to startbut looking at some of yours.......well I might just have a go:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Thanks Melissa - just tried it on my quickutz rocker, but the stamp is too big and fell off before completing the rocking motion IYKWIM. I then tried it on a cd case and it stuck okay to that - but I think I'll need to practice my technique! I'm pretty confident now with clear stamps on the rocker, and am just getting the hang of wooden mounted stamps. This is a completely new type of stamp for me.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0

Rainmac - thanks for all the lovely images!
Just a flying visit - thinking of Saveapenny and hoping that no one else is feeling too rotten!0 -
I am so excited, my friend has had her baby (no, not our friend Mel ). Jayne had a girl at 3am this morning and she is called Georgia. Ooohhh baby card time!!! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

Rainmac - congratulations to your friend - when was she due????
Jailhousebabe - I quite like these kind of stamps because the foam is quite squishy!!! I bought a pack of 3 acrylic blocks from the paper mill a couple of weeks ago for 3 quid - they were meant to be 10 quid. I find them a lot easier to use than my cd case, the largest block was huge!!0 -
Already in the post, Rusty will have it back tomorrow
Woohooooo Hopefully it will be back here! I really miss ithow silly is it that I feel completely rubbish that I can't craft!!!
Thanks for the comments on my card, I forced myself to make both that and the ATC purely because I had said I would join in the swap.
The papers on the card for Rainmac are either My minds eye, or bloom and grow, can't remember which pack I took them out of without looking, but I would probably say bloom and grow, I remember the paper was double sided but seemed to match
Congrats to your friend Rainmac. what a beautiful name
Melissa glad it arrived safely and that you like it
Flourgirl glad your folder arrived safely aswellRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

6 days ago I think, I sort of tried to forget about it cos I remember how depressed I was when I was overdue with my two monkeys
£3 is very good going. Wish I lived near a Papermill shop, OH is probably very glad we don't:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Thanks for lovely comments on my blog you guys!! I'm so glad I did that wedding photo album cos they really were overjoyed with it and it made all the effort worth it!! They said it was one of the best presents ever! :j
Re: my embossed thanks card - thanks for lovely comments - the embossing is lovely isn't it - I'm afraid I can't take the credit as I have yet to invest in a 'cuttlebug' or the like!! I bought a 'bumper pack' of papers from The Works last week just so I could join in this challenge!! Yay!! And it contained the lovely white embossed paper I've used! There are quite a few small sheets of it so guess I'll be making loads of card with it!
I love the pocket cards - they are so much easier than I thought they were going to be!
Rusty - your pocket card looks lovely - really really pretty paper!! :T
I still have some challenge cards to do I think - have been getting a little confused I have to admit!! :eek:0
