Hi all i have been running around making cards and buying balloons etc ready for my sisters new baby. As yet there is no sign she started off well yesterday then things ground to a hault last night.I have just spoken to her and the contractions are coming thick and fast so it hopefully wont be to much longer.

These are the things I have been making for the little one

Wow mumhug, your sister is going to be soooo thrilled with that little lot, you clever thing :D Her bump just needs to get a move on and arrive!!! I have just been quickly browsing online to find some pretty pink paper to make a card for my friend's new arrival. I've already given her a Winnie the Pooh themed nappy cake and a hamper and am part way through making a Winnie the Pooh scrapbook. Off to the dentist soon, my chaps are shattered from all the running around this morning, oh I do hope they behave. They both had their faces painted as Spiderman and I've tried my best to get it off but their skin has turned a funny pink colour, god hope we don't get barred from the dentist in fear that they have some lurgy or other

Hi all, and thanks for the welcomes!

I will post up some pics once I get started properly.....I went to Home Bargains yesterday and picked up a load of bits and bobs from there, but didnt see the kit for £4.99......oh well, just an excuse to go back! But I have also ordered a load of stuff online, which I am waiting for it to come!

I did pick up some card blanks and envelopes for 69p, so when I ruin them cos they are carp, then at least I havent spent a fortune on them! I dont know what sort of quality they are but they didnt look too bad - not for playing with anyway.

Wow - I love the pocket cards, Ive never seen those before and all the baby stuff is just fab!

I did pick up a little craft set in Home bargains yesterday, which had scissors with patterned edges, a love heart and a star shaped punch and a little rolling machine which puts patterns in your paper (im sure it has a much more technical name than that! - sorry, can you tell Im new to all of this :rotfl:)

Anyway, again I dont know how good they are either, but I thought they would do for me to have a little play-around with until I get the hang of it!

    xx

I can sympathise, saveapenny, having had chronic dyspesia (indigestion) for sometime now. Nothing like yours now but the omeprazol worked wonders.
