Julie H - I love the wedding invites they look really classy :D

I also get bored making the same design several times so it can't be easy !!

One of my sons got engaged on Christmas day so I hope they don't ask me to make their invites  :rotfl:

    Love your card Soblivion.

I am waiting on a cd of Art Deco images for card making to arrive [from ebay] I really love the Art Deco style and can't wait to get started. Hope it comes today :D

Does anyone else use cd's of images? I have a few now :D

Yes you are right it was Krystaltips. She came back on just after christmas but she hasn't been on since, but then if she has been as tired as I have been feeling she probably can't be bothered getting much done. I know once I have done the daily grind of housework and children all I want is to go to sleep so mustering up the energy to start crafting is hard work. Polly is coming round tonight so maybe that will give me a little more incentive as I've still got my male card to do.

Saveapenny - That invite is a great idea and it looks great too and I would imagine it will be very popular.

JulieH - Great invitation. It looks very professional.:T
    :heart2::rotfl: :rotfl: :heart2:I LOVE A BARGIN:heart2: :rotfl: :rotfl:
TIME TO START SHOPPING FOR NEXT CHRISTMAS

As for number 3 wasn't Krystaltips number 1? she is due in May if I remember rightly making the 3 up from herself, Melissa and Abusybee? or am I wrong?

Sorry if I started the b*m steer speculation about No 3 ~ I had missed Krystaltips.

Saveapenny - love your wedding invites - going to pass the link to my Godson & girlfriend who get married next year.

    I bet they will!

    Thank you fluffybishop.

Julie your wedding invites are beautiful, so very elegant and classy. I also looked at the pics on your blog, everything looks just fantastic.
Wow that looks amazing, where did you get your lips paper from? I would love to be able to make something like that but it looks too complicated for me to get to grips with!

Thanks Rusty, sorry I snipped your post, I got the lips paper and the embellishments from a magazine called 'let's make cards' issue 20. It was expensive but I had nothing here to make a start with and it's got lots of other bits in for me to make some more. I bet you'll do it brilliantly.

Is this the issue out now? or have I missed it already? I don't normally buy the magazines but then surely buying one can't really hurt ;)

Yes it is Rusty I just got it 2 days ago. It has some small papers in but only just a half an A4 size of the lips one or I'd have sent you a bit. Sorry.

Rusty be careful, I just spotted it says in the front of mine issue 21 is out 23rd January, so yesterday then. Just above the 'let's make' it gives the issue number.

The challenge was set on Monday 19th to run for two weeks - so I'd guess 6pm on Monday 2nd February.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
