craftygranny We have carpet in the living room so I am washing our floor blankets like mad if she has accidents but it is all so worth it in the end. She had a 4th wee, but I had to put a nappy on her to have her dinner as she refused to sit there without one (think she is scared incase it happens again like it did the other day) I am so proud of her though, and she is going to bed shortly for her afternoon nap :)

JHB Thankyou :) I have small scallop circles, not too sure what the difference is but I love my small scallop ones :) I think it may just be the size of the scallop around the edge?

Melissa oooh that is this Friday!!! I bet you are so excited! I hope you are trying to relax :)

Rusty, fab new card, I love the colours. So sorry your back is causing you soooo much pain but so pleased Maddison is getting sorted with the potty training. My DS2 says 'no, keep nappy on' when I try and take his off!

OK then Mel, if it's going to be Friday, you need to get that bag packed NOW and then rest as much as possible x How exciting!!!
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

Jailhousebabe - I love that punch too - (the doily lace one), I'll see if I can find it in stock anywhere for you.

Rusty/ Rainmac - I've packed half of my bag - the baby's stuff, I figure I can pop my stuff in at the last minute. We'll see if Leo's prediction comes true!!!

Thanks melissa. You must be so excited now; hopefully you'll not be in for too long so won't need much anyway.
I remember when I had DD; it was 5 days stay for a first birth, then 2 days for any subsequent births. I could never figure why it was that way round - when you have your first child, you just want to get home and show them off; surely if you have any more, then you'd appreciate the chance to stay in longer and have a bit of a rest?
    Good luck xx

Just been lurking..not right at the moment (please don't say yes not right in the head! :P )

*hugs* to Mumhug, I hope you stay healthy swine-flu wise, being in high risk group with it in the house must be a great worry *H*U*G*S*

Those of you that have seen my blog will know, but I'm getting really worried about my card making at the moment lol... but apparently a lot of people get 'card block' .... so it isn't just me... following on from the other day I made some Mr Men ones today but most were 'copies' if you see what i mean...I still don't think they look great but hey they look like the ones in the magazine so maybe I set my sights too high.... lol

*H*U*G*S* to anyone else who needs them

Jailhousebabe - they're in stock here:
    http://www.thehobbyhouse.co.uk/Martha_Stewart_Doily_Lace_Border_Punch-p-5380.html
postage is 2.50 up to a 20 quid spend. They sell some nice flowers there too.
I know what you mean its going to be hard looking after the newborn and then my other two as well - they can be quite demanding! I think my m-i-l will help me out and take them off my hands for a few hours now and then though, (fingers crossed).

Myzdamena - I always get mental block when it comes to my card making and scrapbooking - I think it happens to everyone.

Hi everyone, just been catching up with this mornings post. We have been to see the oldies (my mum &dad) they are both still moaning so we know they are ok :D Then took 45 cards in a box for my sister for work, hopefully she will be able to sell them for me.

Rusty sorry you're in pain again, if you have to have an operation on your back it would be worth it if they can guarantee no more pain. Fab new card I love the colours you have chosen :T
    and for your little girl
:T:j:T:jWell Done Maddison Mae you are a very clever girl :T:j:T:j

Rainmac your little boy will do it when he is ready, I always found boys were harder to potty train
Melissa if it is going to be Friday then its only hours away  so better get that case packed then put your feet up and rest :D How exciting for you and your family

I have to pick GD1 up from school today and then make dinner for everyone, no doubt she will want to do some crafting, I think I will let her have a go on the Cuttlebug with the embossing folders.
The nesties I have bought are Labels No 4 and Scalloped circles large  like you say Rusty it's probably the scalloped edges that are different.

I just really want to make cards and I set aside an hour and I just sit there with all my stuff.... and no thoughts come... I can 'copy' cards and make the same as one I've seen but I hate to do that... I subscribe to Let's Make Cards mostly because of the kit that comes with it...it's really easy to use for my 4 year old daughter ..... but I find a lot of the cards in there look 'messy' to me or 'cluttered' if you see what I mean so I don't really read the mag...besides do the competition *of course* hehe... hmmm if you've seen my blog today, though, maybe the advice should be to clear the table.... maybe no thoughts come when it's all cluttered lol.....

Any ideas what to do with all my create and craft invertage/pyrimage stuff that's been hanging about for months? ... it just looks too 'old' not a clue why I bought it... I'm really annoyed with myself as it was a pick of the week and I'd sat there over 5 days wondering whether to get it and weighing up the pros and cons.... yet I still made a stupid decision  :o

.....maybe I should start a one-week only craft group and charge £1 a person to make a card... :rotfl:... I really want the Smiley Bears from create and craft now but I gots no money hehe......
