I need to make a graduation card for a friends daughter for next Monday.

Can any of you lovely lot give me any inspiration as i think my friend would like something a little quirkey. I on the other hand want to make my own for her a little more traditional. Any thoughts??????

Myzdamena - I've got loads of stuff that I wish I'd never bought and I probably wont use I ended up giving a lot of it away. If you did a car boot or something you could always bag up "how to make your own card kits" and bung a load of items in there.

We never do car boots. I don't have the energy to do it alone for more than a couple of hours and I can't drive... and hubby refuses to do one with me hehe

...maybe I can throw it in the bin accidentally on purpose and forget I ever had it? lol

.....wahhh I want my Smiley Bears they look all happy...I think crafting with them would make me happy *nods*

I have an image that looks like a forever friends bear with a graduation cap and streamers; I think it's called a pyramage, where you mount layers of square images? I'm not sure - anyway it might be nice printed on photo quality paper. I can't remember where I downloaded the image from, so if you want to have a look at it then just pm me your email address and I'll send it over.

Why don't you try to swap it on Crafty Place? Failing that, there's always RAKs and blog candy (alhough you won't recoup any money that way).

My 2 cards for the MSE christmas challenge. Sorry I can't decide which to enter so I posted them both ... although I think it needs to be the daisy and dandelion one as my other is very similar to JHB's except hers looks so much better!

They are also on my blog :)

They are both really lovely Rusty. looks like you have put a lot of work into them both. The image on the top one is gorgeous and I love the 3 card candy snowballs. Your Daisy and Dandelion stamped image is perfect and beautifully put together, Well done :)

love the cards Rusty and Jailhousebabe :T

Rusty I made one similar to your D&D one, saw it in the Do Crafts Mag ;) it's a great layout for a shaped card, I had some trouble getting my diagonal arch to look just right though lol, what did you use?

Rusty - I can't believe we both came up with nearly the same card! The image is understandable - but to have the same backing paper and both put sentiments on a tag... spooky! I love your candy snowballs. :D
I have to say that the D&D card is my favourite. I love everything about it - the way you've coloured the image, the backing paper and the nesties, the shape of the card - it's fab.

I hope my nesties get here tomorrow, I've had an email to say that they're in the post.
