Good Evening Ladies
Sorry I've not had much time to do any cards lately, but just wanted to say how fantastic everyone's latest creations are. Well done to you all!

dawnteabag - so sorry to hear about your mum, I hope she improves and feels better asap. I love the top layer of backing paper, it's gorgeous. I love all things girly!
Photobucket has finally decided to be friend not foe.
This is the card making set I bought from a charity shop for £2.25:
These are two sets that came with some magazines, I just happened to end up in Smiths in the magazine section, no idea how I came to end up there...!
The top girly set came with You Can Craft and the bottom set came with Let's Make Cards. I bought the girly set because I love all things like that and I bought Let's Make Cards because I find doing male cards hard and I don't have any male papers or embellishent bits so thought this was an investment. You Can Craft comes in a plastic zip wallet too which is good, although I've taken the zip off of the runners already and my boyfriend is sorting it out as I type!0 -

Mum has spent another evening in A&E. After coming home yesterday she was fine when I went to see her in my lunch hour but apparently her eye sockets and forehead swelled up in the afternoon - my sis said she looked like a klingon!
Anyhow, they now think that she has a fractured in her face and that it was a build up of air. She's been told not to blow her nose for a week but has also caught a chest infection. Poor thing!
Gorgeous challenge card on your blog :T I love all the sparkly bits, did you cut the tag yourself or was it pre-cut ? I love the shape.
Sorry to hear about your Mum, poor thing, she sounds in a bit of a state. I wish her a speedy recovery x0 -
Lucy Lu looks like you have some nice things there. The butterfly paper is really pretty, are you going to use some of it for your challenge card?0

Thanks for your kind wishes - she's having a good sleep now. The doctor she saw today finally seemed to know what he was doing so we're hoping it's just a matter of rest and recuperation now.
The tag was pre-cut, I think I'm going to tie a little piece of pink ribbon to it to finish the card off.. I don't normally do girly so I have to thank npsmama for arranging the stash swap as its given me a bit of inspiration to try things new.0 -

Gemm85 - I have never really used any penny black images - I'm always a bit worried about colouring in the animals in the wrong colour and them looking silly.
Dawnteabag - I'm really sorry to hear about your Mum, I hope she feels better soon.
Lucy Lu - looks like you got some fab stuff there, especially your charity shop bargain!
Well I finally used my big bite this morning. The OH was saying that he wanted to make a new hole in his belt! I dramatically got my bit of kit out of the cupboard and asked him what size hole he wanted. He kept going "that's never going to punch through that", but it did and he was most impressed!!!!0 -
why do you want to do that for!! if you have a VERY good reason
then i'll help you out: go to your Blog Dashboard, then click on Settings in the box next to your picture. Then at the top where it says blog tools, click ' Delete Blog'
bye bye bloggie
Gemm, you're a star! :A Thank you I got into such a mess with it trying to get a background and header that it started to look pretty horrible, best for me to start over again. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0
