Every so often I'll get to your blogs and I love browsing to see what you all so cleverly create,

flourgirl, I love the colours you done to 'dress up maggie' and the pink petticoat image on your retirement is brilliant.

saveapenny always a joy to peek in at your blog

    Off to have another shufty!

My blog? still in progress, anyone know how to delete the one I'm working on so that I can start again?

Well I actually managed to get some stuff done today. I paid in some cheques that had been lying around for months, and I FINALLY posted everyone's parcels off. I had 10 packets in all - the post office man must have been cursing me! The only one that I haven't posted is my ATC for npsmama - I promise I'll get it done in the next few days.
I managed to print off a test sheet of images and I was so pleased. Then I found out that my printer wouldn't print onto my 290 gsm card. So I hunted high and low for some thinner card and I found one piece!! I've bought some more today that's 250 - so I'm not sure whether that's going to be too thick as well.

Rainmac - congratulations on you card win!!! Lovely challenge card - I really like your stitching!! I don't think the card needs anything else - its perfect as it is! Because I managed to print off one sheet from my printer I bought the spaceman sheet from poppycrafts too - only when I click "download now" its a blank page????

Rusty - fab challenge card entry, I really like the boy's hair and dungarees - so cute!!!

OAP - great challenge card. I really like the papers that you've used!

Bunbun - good luck for your results tomorrow, I'll be thinking about you.

hels - sorry about your bad news.

Furrypig - another great challenge card - your papers are fab, and I love your charm!

Saveapenny - great news about Harry!!! Yes please could you pm me the link.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments about my cards and thanks to Lucy Lu for saying nice things about my notebooks - I have only made a few - I really must try and make some more!!

Gemm - gorgeous challenge card, your hedgehog is gorgeous!!

Melissa, pls don't worry at all. Life happens. ;-)

    On another note:
Mad About Cards have a sale with some nice things for 25p!! http://www.madaboutcards.com/section.php/1152/0/Craft_Pound_Shop

I was thinking of placing an order and wondered if anyone wanted to share the order with me and split the p&P charges? Most of the things on sale are embellishments that would be very light to send on.

    PM me if interested! smile.gif

Mum has spent another evening in A&E. After coming home yesterday she was fine when I went to see her in my lunch hour but apparently her eye sockets and forehead swelled up in the afternoon - my sis said she looked like a klingon!
Anyhow, they now think that she has a fractured in her face and that it was a build up of air. She's been told not to blow her nose for a week but has also caught a chest infection. Poor thing!
