thanks everyone for your good wishes. my endoscopy results showed mild gastric something or other which I think is acid! so nothing major which is good. I have some tablets to take and will see if they make any difference.

thanks also to all who have sent me parcels - it was like my birthday this morning:A I will post in more detail later
