Lovely cards everyone well done :)

Can I ask the people with cuttlebugs ... Are they really worth their money? I know everyone raves about them? ... Also if you had the cuttlekids then I presume they are smaller things to go through it?or are they all one size? Can you only use the cuttlebug items with it or do they do a non branded way aswell?

Reading that back makes no sense :rotfl: but I hope someone may know what I mean.

We're here cos you are soooo lovely :D

By the way have any of you seen the MSE Crafty Girlies group on facebook? Come and join in! Rusty set it up :T and someone has commented that they were surprised when they saw my photo cos they thought I would be dowdy and old. Did a lot for my confidence I can tell you   :D :rotfl:

Sorry rainmac :o - but in my defence I did at least add that you were definitely neither :p
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
  • I managed to pick up a crimper/ribbler today in Home Bargains (as discussed on another thread) but thought it may be of interest here. It came in a box with 2 punches and 2 pairs of 'effect' scissors (not sure what you call them - they cut in waves and other patterns - all for £2.99. I also picked up another kit with 2 different punches, 2 different scissors, and a gadget that looks like a ribbler but embosses stars onto your paper.

I hope that all makes sense!

    Gemm85 what a lovely card.

I'm going to attempt some card making this evening. Wish me luck!

Can I also ask where you buy your card supplies from? I'm looking for a range of different cards and foam I found Hobbycraft quite expensive.

Melissa - ~I didnt get the album just the papers ive got two scrapbooking albums so i thought i would use them, I cant wait to use the papers though.

ZLS - Hope you feel better soon i get migraines and there awfull.

Saveapenny - I cant remember where I got it from but it was from an American website, I actually paid for the digital download there was papers, embelishments and alphabets it was £1.20. I have the wesbite saved at work (thats where i printed off that card  ) and so i will post it on Monday. Luckily I had the right colour blue ribbon and a scrap of brown paper that matched. They have some lovely digital downloads if anyone is into digital scrapbooking.

Minimacka - I got a bit carried away buying everything in the collection!
Hels102 - Good luck, I get my stuff from various places. I tend to buy loads of A4 card when I go into town, which isn't often as I hate the crowds, I fill a box for about 6 quid in The Paper Mill. I pick up double sided tape and foam pads in the poundland, they also sell packs of buttons which are useful. I tend to get most of my stuff online and look at shops that are offering free postage or that have a sale on. Somebody posted a link a couple of pages ago for 50 card blanks and envelopes from WHSmith which are really decent, and they offer free postage.

Jailhousebabe - HomeBargains have some fantastic crafty bits that are really cheap, I picked up a large circle stamp from there months ago which is normally 8 quid and they were selling it for 2 quid (I've never used it though).
Gemm85 - beautiful card, the flower stamp is lovely.
    Abusybee - thanks.
Dizziblonde - you must be very talented, I made a tea bag card once and it was a complete disaster, none of the triangles were the same.
Rainmac - I can't wait for my papers to come either, they do look gorgeous. I haven't been nosey and looked at your picture, but I imagine you to be a brunette, straight hair, petite and quite natural - am I right?

Hi thank you for all you kind wishes. The migrane is still there and making life hell. I am sat in the room with only the lamp on, quickly came on here as wanted to look something up.

My book is nearly finished although I am losing confidence in it my dad said it is very nice. Just got 1 more page to decorate then add the finishing touches.

I will post a pic as soon as it is all done.
