I've sent you a Facebook friend request, hope you accept to be my friend ;) I do have straight-ish hair but am definitely not petite but so chuffed you thought I was :rotfl: I am about 5ft8" and weigh more than I should

that is so not true rainmac! you look lovely and more or less how I imagined. Your boys are so cute! I look at facebook occassionally but don't play around much (just being nosy really and seeing what everyone is up to!). In fact I think one of my friends has taken me off her friends list for the second time cos i don't do anything:rotfl:

My first attempt was actually pretty dreadful, a mix of purple and orange and not quite right so not showing that one to anyone!!

So here are the 2 cards I made for friends birthdays in Feb

First cards I've made for ages (but only made a few in the past months as it's a new hobby still!)

Thanks everyone for sharing all your tips and ideas!

AAh - furrypig, it must be great to be able to make cards with your daughter, its a lovely card, I can see it must have taken her ages to make - she must be really patient. Your cards are lovely, I love the pearlescent card that you've used and the black flowers, I've got some huge black flowers but i haven't used them yet.

Gemm85 - fab card and the buterflies give it that little bit of extra special and finish it off nicely.:T

Furrypig - Great cards love the pearlecent paper/card. :T Your daughter should be really proud of herself it is fab.:T

Rustyflange - I got a cuttlebug (£50ish) for xmas and bought it as an offer and got the cuttle kids (£25ish) and an alphabet for the cuttlekids (£15) all for £70 which I thought was a great offer. I got it from -

You get a choice of alphabet, either Tadpole (boys) or Faries (girls). The faries one is nicer but as I have two boys I thought it best to get the Tadpole one. I may invest in a fariy one one-day as they are alot cheaper than the alphabets for the cuttlebug but you only get the upper case but I can live with that. All the cuttlekid dies fit the cuttlebug by just using the adapter plate 'C' and some are cheaper that the ones for the cuttlebug. My kids are age 6 and 4 and they think that its fantastic and they can join in with mummy making things and crafting. They sometimes need help turning the handle but other than that they picked up how to use it quickly. It is alot of money and it costs even more to get the dies and folders to use with it and until you have a small collection you won't use it much but I wouldn't give mine back for anything and I am sure the kids will kill me if I got rid of theirs. I hope this helps you spend your money lol:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Sorry for going on a bit.
