Minimacka - great selection of cards and they're all so different :T

Marg - I love your card, I too am intrugued to know about the wording in the vase as it's so effective ;)

Bunbun - great card, my fave colour is blue :T

phunkles - I don't really use glue on cards (me and glue don't really get along ;)) and use permanent double sided tape to stick paper and card, foam pads/stips for 3d stuff and glue dots to stick smaller things like buttons, little embellishments :D

ZLS1984 - hope you feel much better soon

By the way have any of you seen the MSE Crafty Girlies group on facebook? Come and join in! Rusty set it up :T and someone has commented that they were surprised when they saw my photo cos they thought I would be dowdy and old. Did a lot for my confidence I can tell you   :D :rotfl:

Just ducking in here having skimmed lots of the thread and become very jealous (I do teabag folded cards when I have the time) to mention that I picked up some packs of card accessories with things like beads, sequins, those padded sticky on flowers etc in pink/peach/blue sets in Poundland a while ago for £1 a pack for my mum because she does a lot of card making. I know the stock there is erratic but it may be worth a look.

    Hello
Thank you all for your kind comments about my card - it's for my friend's Mum's birthday. I must confess! I didn't 'do' the wording on the vase - the whole vase image came off the PC - it had flowers in it! so I had to blank them out - then print the card, then add my own bits (the really hard part).

I'm not really very 'crafty' so in the past most of my cards have been done on the computer where I am in my comfort zone but since reading this thread & meeting you all I've been trying all sorts of different things. It didn't seem good enough just to do a card on the PC for the challenge.

I am happy to share the image (not sure how I'll do it yet) if anyone would like it.

Bunbun - Yes, I had trouble with photobucket but thought it was just me, my pics should have been small.

ZLS1984 - Too much stress? Hope you are soon feeling better migraines are nasty.

Rainmac - now off to look @ facebook!

Hi everyone. Happy new year to you all. I have been really busy so only had time to follow and not post. As so much has been posted since xmas it would take me over a week to list everything that I would like to say to every one so I will keep it quite short.

Welcome to all new ones and looking forward to seeing all your creations.

What fantastic cards everyone has made :T :T :T I just hope that when I get round to making some that they are up to the same standard.

Rainmac - Sorry to hear about your Mum. Best wishes to you all.

Mellissa - Congratulations that is fantastic news.:j

Polly - I will try to enter the challenge this week but I'm struggling for time, really good of you to put up a prize.

Rusty - I have requested to join the group on facebook

ZLS1984 - hope the migrane lifts soon

Well for xmas I got a cuttlebug, some papers, flowers and lots of other crafty things. The only downside to owning a cuttlebug is affording to buy all the folders and dies to go with it so it hasn't been used much but with a bit of luck I will have bought some in the next few weeks so I will get more use out of it.
    :heart2::rotfl: :rotfl: :heart2:I LOVE A BARGIN:heart2: :rotfl: :rotfl:
TIME TO START SHOPPING FOR NEXT CHRISTMAS
    I LOVE THE SALES!!!!!

Hi everybody, just thought I would share this card I made yesterday.

The flower stamp is embossed with pink ink and clear powder, and the square card that I have used has a lineny effect, really textured. And I just couldnt resist adding some tiny butterflies :)

Thanks to Minimacka for the tip off about Do crafts magazine, I'm off to the shops now!!

Oh and I've also sent a request to join the Facebook group!
