hey Dawn, the box is lovely. I'm sure she'll love it. Had a bit of a looksy on your photobucket page, some nice cards and pages, well done! looks like you have the same paper pack as me from costco - I hope they get a brighter coloured one in at some point as they're such a bargain.
Ooo let me know if you find the paper punch in the 99p store, i've not seen them either. and thanks for the reply about homebargains on that thread, I've not been for at least a week (!) so not checked them out!

    Hey guys,

I didn't hear anything back from the Scrapbook Boutique and I just remembered today about it. Please could all the people who ordered and put my name in the referral PM me and then I can contact them if I really did have 5 refs :)

    thanks xx

Thanks for the link CT1972 - I have just been looking at her blog and she has got a really nice tutorial for a Spring Loaded Card. I might give it a go in a minute as it looks quite easy.:j

It is very frustrating as I am not allowed to have any links in my messages, even in a quote of someone else's ! I am sorry everyone but you will have to look at CT1972's original message for the link to the blog !

Hi Emma - here's the link for the spring-loaded card tutorial.

Thank you Jailhouse Babe - I have been thinking about the card. I am not sure about it now because I think people would rip the 'springs' apart when they hastily opened the card (I know I would !)

Has anyone tried anything similar ?

Does anyone here belong to a craft group on facebook as I have been wondering?

Rainmac - can you let us know what you have to do with the ticket from Tescos you receive to go to the Hobbycraft show in November please - i'd be interested in going too, and as it happens I have some vouchers to use up buy the end of July. Would anyone else be going and travelling up from London?? QUOTE]

All you need to do is go to here and buy a ticket for the show with £2.50 of Clubcard vouchers (the ones that come through the post). Furrypig said you can use the ticket for any of the days the show is on so we can decide when we can all go nearer the date. When we went before Furry travelled up from Surrey, my geography is rubbish but think she came via London.

Crikey - so much to catch up on.
Jailhousebabe - I had 40 quids worth of stuff in my basket last night at craft superstore, including the guillotine, but instead of checking out I went to bed. I might cave in and complete my order today! So sorry to hear that you were sick and missed your concert.
emujuice - welcome to the thread!! Fabulous exploding box - I love your use of photos in it, its my neice's birthday next week, I don't know whether to attempt to do one for her. I have only made one once before and that was a kit!
salesadmin - congrats on your win!!
Rainmac - glad to hear that your bum has recovered. My skin is really itchy too - its so bizarre - it gets me so irritable - I turn crazy and can't stand anyone touching me. Hope your Mum had a fab birthday - I bet she loved all the things you had made for her. I don't think I'll be able to make it to the N.E.C this time around - sob, sob!!
Rusty - finally you have a diagnosis - I bet you're so pleased - now you can try and get the pain under control!! Fabulous card - I love how you've used your card candy - and the image is lovely. Everything fits so well together - where did you get your black scalloped card blank from?? Good luck to your OH for his interview.
Saveapenny - sorry to hear about your cooker!!!
Fififolle - welcome to the thread - you sound like me - I seem to spend so much time online looking at and buying bargains rather than making cards!
Dawnteabag - Your shadow box is beautiful - your friend will love it - such a clever idea, the deep red looks gorgeous.

Thankyou Melissa, I got the scallop cards from craft superstore :o

    http://www.craftsuperstore.co.uk/Crafts/Card-Blanks/A6-Card-Blanks-and-Envelopes/Assorted-Colours/sc1512/p8729.aspx

They do brown and pastel colours and different heights etc

If you order your £40 worth of stuff I can't be held responsible cause you already had that much in your basket :rotfl:
