Did they have any others? - I could only find that one (and only one of them left!)

No that was it! I might keep popping in though! They have some packs of A4 card about 60 sheets I think, I've been using them to print the stamps and images out on.

Hi Rusty, sorry for another question - where did you get this image from?

I had a look on your special website, and can't see it, can you point me in the right direction for it please.

Just found some handbag 6 x 6 papers and this image would look great on it for a card I need to do in June.

    Many thanks xx

Sorry ladies just a quicky from me now as OH has an interview tomorrow and I have took some dreaded tablets and feel like I can't move for tiredness :( I will post properly tomorrow and thank and comment on the posts/pictures.

CT, Erm I have no idea! ... it was one hamish kindly posted to me, I will look and see if there is another one in my stash, if not I shall go hunt and find the image on the net and clear it then upload it or send it to you. Will look tomorrow. sorry I can't do it tonight. Hope thats ok for you?

Good luck to OH for tomorrow rusty, and I hope you feel better soon. Hopefully you'll at least manage a good night's sleep having taken the painkillers.

Have been umming and aahing about whether to post this as its a gift for someone and I've not given it to them yet. Given that she's not a mker of cards, the chances of her reading this forum are pretty slim and I think my need to get opinions is greater than that possibility.

It's my first shadow box attempt and the plan is that she can use it to store bits and bobs from her wedding last year. I've put in my placecards and an invite to give her the idea and will ask her to choose her stuff and return it to me and I'll pop them in.

    It's for a birthday present

The picture at the backup is a close up of wedding flowers and engagement ring.

I've really struggled with it because I bought it thinking it was 12 inches then realised when I got it home it was 16 inches.

Wow that looks absolutely beautiful!! Well done, it looks really pretty! what a lucky friend she is :)

Thanks JHB, He has just left to drive up the country ... he has been up all through the night worrying :( but he is away now and it will all soon be over. His interview is 10:30.

As for me I had the best nights sleep I have had in ages and really grateful for having it lol.

How are you today? hope you are feeling a bit better today?

Yes it is possible - here is a link to how it is done, but if you do a search on google, you may find others.

I've tried it and it does work, but found it a bit trickey as i'm left handed.

Thanks for the link CT1972 - I have just been looking at her blog and she has got a really nice tutorial for a Spring Loaded Card. I might give it a go in a minute as it looks quite easy.:j

It is very frustrating as I am not allowed to have any links in my messages, even in a quote of someone else's ! I am sorry everyone but you will have to look at CT1972's original message for the link to the blog !

I think it is only because you have a low post count Emma, I think that will all change. I'm not sure if there is somewhere in the profile options (user cp) that gives you a box to tick to let you post links or something but I am pretty sure it is just because you are fairly new so it sometimes stops spammers etc ;)

Thanks Rusty - I will have to get my fingers out and start posting :rotfl:

I hope your OH's interview goes well - I can never sleep when something like that happens as well. I am even worse if we have to get up early for something - I spend the whole night clock watching and re-checking the alarm settings - I am so wierd !

Dawnteabag - your box is beautiful. My Mother-in-Law made me something similar for my wedding with a cross stitched picture on the top. It is 10 years old and I still look at it (when I go in the loft LOL) I have all my wedding cards and other sentimental bits in it. Your friend will love it.
