flourgirl - I must admit, I cheated with the bow. :o
I used two pieces of ribbon: 1 piece folded into 2 bows (stuck with DST), then another wrapped tightly around the centre to look like a bow (again with DST). I just couldn't tie a decent bow this morning, and couldn't be bothered to go downstairs for a fork. :p

    Hi everyone!

I used to read the original cardmaking thread but then lost track of it. I discovered this new one about a week ago & have eventually caught up on what all you talented ladies have been up to!

I've thought about joining the forum for a while & I've eventually got the guts up to do it as you all seem so lovely! This is my very first post ever!!

I've been making cards for a while but i am no expert! My Mam got me into it & we're always looking for inspiration & I've got plenty from here....thanks! I must admit though that I am much better at shopping for the things to make the cards than actually making them. lol

Hope you don't mind me joining in! :)

I brought a corner punch very similar to this in hobbycraft on sat and they were reduced to £2.59 if that helps anyone.

Thanks for the info mumhug - unfortunately the nearest hobbycraft to me is a 35 mile round trip . How I wished I lived closer, i'd be in their all the time!
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Yes it is possible - here is a link to how it is done, but if you do a search on google, you may find others.

I've tried it and it does work, but found it a bit trickey as i'm left handed.
