Glad you've had a proper diagnosis -slipped disc is nasty (yes,I've had that too........you name it I've probably had it............lol) It was many years ago and I was told to sit upright in a chair (no slouching on sofa) and sleep with a board under the matress and no pillows. Took 6 weeks to get better -no physio but I went to a chap who did 'backs' and stuff -can't for the love of me remember what he was -wasn't a chiropractor, something else. Painful but it worked..........and I had to pay !!
Best of luck with the painkillers and hope you get some physio quick.

I'm still in bed feeling more and more sorry for myself. Me and DD have tickets to see Counting Crows in Birmingham tonight and we're both too ill to go. £70 down the drain.
What makes it even more annoying is that the gig was originally scheduled for December with a support act who we love, but was cancelled due to band illness. They get to re-schedule but we don't.
And my stupid camera is still not working, and my mobile phone for some reason is not uploading photos to the laptop. I've made 4 cards I want to post up, but can't.
Oh well, thanks for letting me blow off steam. Rant over.

Just a couple of quick message I will catch up properly later on tonight my cooker blew up and trying to get it sorted its a built under one and not many places stock the one I want ...nightmare!!

Just to say people I owe stuff to its finaly gone in the post

That's a shame, the website gives the impression that they have. Oh well, we've got no excuse for not going to the Hobbycraft fair at the NEC (apart from illness, holiday, etc... lol) as it's so nearby. I'll have to find my clubcard vouchers.

jailhousebabe sorry to hear you are still feeling unwell and really sorry to hear you and DD will miss the concert this evening. it is so unfair that they can reschedule but if you can't make it...tough
