Ok, I should got to bed, but before I do, here's my nearly finished (I need to stick it together and put my mum's birthdate in the middle) exploding box:
    http://www.flickr.com/photos/chocolatecaroline/sets/72157618057754650/
papers are from a massive folder's worth from costco (17.99 for 300 - all muted colours though)
flower from a bigz die reduced to 3.50 on sizzix a few weeks ago
tree branches on travel page also a reduced die and ikea's colour paper pack (good thick paper for 3.99
die cut letters - 12.50 alphabet from sizzix again with a 99p 6x6 paper stack from papermania
    vellum from craft bargain box
    I made the chinese lanterns
ribbons, brads and blue sticky dots from box above
seeD's stamps for corners and TRAVEL (1.99) with embossing powder
brown paper for spring 8x8 stack from craft super store.
souffle pens for middle page and black pen for other text, pencil crayon for middle bit

I got one of those bargain boxes too and was very impressed because I wanted embossing equipment :) I got pretty much the same as you.

Just won £30 on the magnum competition so can't wait for my cards to arrive so I can add to my stash!

Seen this on another thread and thought it may be of some use too some of you

The Range are selling all X-Cut Impress dies for £1.99, Alphabet sets are £9.99 and the machine is £14.99.

I think it may be being discontinued, but the dies should work in other die cutting machines and there are some nice designs. Even the double cuts ones that were £12.99 are now £1.99. Bargain!!!

Bunbun - When i ordered the Tesco voucher for the NEC it didn't mention a date, not sure if it lets me go on any day or if I then order a ticket for a particular date using the voucher? I'll let you know what happens when I get the ticket/voucher from Tesco ;)

She grinch - gorgeous green card, I love the bear and the star, it's brilliant :D

Dawteabag - fab dinosaur cards on your blog and your homemade backing paper is perfect :T

Rusty - if you are looking to offload your pens please let me have first dibs as I want those colours. Happy to reimburse you what you paid for them if you still want to sell them :D Good luck to your OH with the job in Glasgow ;)

flourgirl - love the selection of flowers and ribbons you got, can see some fab cards being made with those ;) Glad to hear you got an appointment, not too long to wait, am thinking of you x

Mel - my bum is much better thanks, I seriously have sat on the floor loads over the past week making cards (I use our coffee table as my craft area) but my order is now finished, dropping them back tonight and should get a nice cheque ;) I well remember the issues with pregnancy, I had itchy skin and I sometimes thought it would be easier to live in the toilet the amount of times I had to go for a wee :p The end is in sight now though and you'll soon forget about all the niggles as you'll have a beautiful baby to cuddle :D

dragonllew - fantastic cards on your blog, I especially love your anniversary card and the 21st birthday shaped card :T

I've got 3 cards to make for some little girls turning 2. Need to have a think about what to do.

    Hope everyone's ok today :D

I'm waiting for Mr Postie to deliver 2 packages. I'm quite excited about my card making again and will try to fit some in over the weekend. Hope to get my blog up too (gulp).

Hi Rainmac, have snipped your post. I will try and have a proper play with them today and see how I get on with them. If I can't get on with the colours then I will pop them in the post to you. Don't worry about the money, they weren't that expensive and you have done enough for me over the last few months!

I have just got back from the doctors, I have a massive result from seeing my own doctor. Turns out I do have sciatica, but it is caused by a slipped disc  He has given me codeine tablets, and told me to take these aswell as paracetamol and ibruprofen, if the codeine doesn't help to go back and he will prescribe stronger. I have to go back in 1 month for a review and possibly a scan if there is no change, and I have an appointment for the 27th for physio ... he has also put a complaint into the manager of the practice about the lack of help from the silly doctor I saw last week.

I'm glad I have a proper result and some pain relief, although it is going to cause problems on Friday when I am in court again cause I am not allowed to drive long distances which is what my ex is expecting so that will go down well ;)

Hopefully I will find my craft mojo in my craft box today ... housework can wait cause I am in pain :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good day and hopefully I will have some pictures to show later

Rusty, thank goodness you've finally seen a doctor who seems to want to help poorly people. Sorry you are still in immense pain, must make everything a struggle but so glad you've got a diagnosis, some more medication to help and a plan of action. My housework is waiting today too, I'm just shattered today and DS2 is grumpy cos he's tired. I've got ironing and general cleaning to do but really can't be bothered with it. Nothing that can't wait until tomorrow :p It's my mum's biryhday today so me and the 2 monkeys are off to my m&d's for tea after school. I told OH he can sort his own tea tonight ;)
