Rainmac - can you let us know what you have to do with the ticket from Tescos you receive to go to the Hobbycraft show in November please - i'd be interested in going too, and as it happens I have some vouchers to use up buy the end of July. Would anyone else be going and travelling up from London?? QUOTE]
All you need to do is go to here and buy a ticket for the show with £2.50 of Clubcard vouchers (the ones that come through the post). Furrypig said you can use the ticket for any of the days the show is on so we can decide when we can all go nearer the date. When we went before Furry travelled up from Surrey, my geography is rubbish but think she came via London.
Hi CT must've missed your post sorry!!
I travelled from surrey via london trains go direct to the nec from euston was an easy journey and no problems booked in advance and went on cheapest trains possible!!! Had to try and be moneysaving after all!!0 -

keep your chin up, really hope you get well soon xx
I heard from oh just after 12pm ... he was in there an hour and a half  there was 3 of them and they said yes in all the right places and no no's ... he said because there was 3 of them he couldn't read all of their notepads :rotfl: cheeky monkey! was only a quick call as he needs to get back on the road to come home before rush hour! will speak to him properly later on but he said it seems to go well but like all of the others there is other people to interview.
Good news is he has another interview on Monday ... this time in Hedon so sunday night I shall be home alone as he is going to stay at my aunties over night for his 8:30am interview
Hope your OH is home soon safe and sound and relieved that the interview is over.
Sorry I didn't reply earlier, had to read and run but like flourgirl said, I use tiny foam pads, ones that aren't too raised so they sit on the card. If that makes senseYour card is fab, loving the images and colours you are using
You have forced me to buy some coloured scalloped cards as yours look soooo great, I've ordered some A6 ones from The Glitter Pot as they are cheaper than the square ones and p&p is only £1.
For anyone who is intersted in the card candy dots from Craftwork Cards you can buy these for £1 a pack from The Glitter Pot and if your order is less than £10, p&p is only £1 (as opposed to £1.95 at Craftwork Cards).

Have just posted my entry for the CCC challenge (Minimalist) on my blog.

The pink hamper I made for my friends daughter went down really well, she was absoloutely thrilled with it. Just thought I'd let you know.
Beautiful card, I love it, perfect for the challenge :T
I'm not surprised the hamper was well received, it was beautiful:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Rainmac - I didn't realise that the glitter pot sold the card candy too. I'll have to check out those scalloped cards on there.
Mookybargirl - that's a fab idea - doing craft starter kits on the car boot. I was thinking of doing one for my neice for xmas - every time she visits me she always pleads "can I make a card?", I've already given her a few things, but I thought I could do her a really nice set for xmas with some felt tips, stamped images and blank cards etc.
F1widow - welcome to the thread - I hope you're going to post some pics of your creations!
Flourgirl - I'm not surprised she loved the hamper - it was lovely!
I've been trying to clear my house out today - I am exhausted!!! I've got quite a bit of card making stuff that I'm never going to use - so if anybody wants it - it yours! I've got a lot of a4 oriental papers and some a4 oriental sticker sheets, plus some 4x4 squares of handmade paper and another folder of stuff that I've not even looked through yet. There's plenty there for a few people. So let me know if you're interested - I don't want any money for it, and I can't be bothered listing it on ebay but it wont get posted until the middle of next week probably.0 -

Great idea for a pressie
I only found out about the Glitter Pot selling the candy recently.
Don't you go overdoing it with the sorting out:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
mookybargirl - yes we are hoping to have a car boot on Sunday (weather permitting) but in past experience people do want a real bargain and as you know this equipment can be costly and although I dont want the earth for the things I dont want to give it away - still I am going to be firm with myself if they dont take the price I give I can always bring it home - I remember years ago my addiction was cross stitch and some of the kits I had were very expensive - was only asking £2-£3 per kit or 50p a magazine but still I received "oh I dont do cross stitch so only wanted to pay...." or "its for my ........ and I dont know whether they will like it":rotfl::rotfl:- still its all the fun of doing car boots I suppose
Plus I have enough for two stalls :rotfl::eek::eek::rotfl:

Hello F1 Widow
Welcome to the thread.
I know it's a pain listing things on Ebay at times, but I've noticed recently that some people are actually puttung a few things together and selling them as kits - seems like quite a good idea maybe?
Hope this helps.
