Rusty ...Harry is doing realy well he came off the drip yesterday and hopefuly back with mom today as long as he is feeding well...They found a heart murma but they have said its nothing to worry about that most babies are born with one. It just set alarms ringing becuase we lost a child at 5 months due to heart problems so that brought all that back even thought it was 27 years ago

Part 2 of the flat cleaning today ...nets and sorting more storage out and then hopefuly he and mom will be home by the weekend
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel

Saveapenny, so glad little Harry and his mummy are doing well Both of mine had heart murmurs when they were born and neither have them now. It is really common.

Great cards everyone, Rusty love your WTP card and the number looks fab. Bunbun, the flower fairy cards are soooo pretty and your boat card is fab. The Wife, your cards are lovely, I too love the huge flower one. Have left comments on blogs too.

Melissa, buy all the pens then you'll have all the colours you need ;)

Have you seen this week's CCC challenge, the sketch? I'm looking forward to doing that one but unfortuntely do not have much in the way of crafting time this week :( Will have to find a way... ;)

Awww! saveapenny, glad to hear that Harry is doing really well. Sorry to hear about your earlier experience, no wonder you've been extra worried.

Here's that card I made for my son's friend:

She's going to be 9 and is a very sassy, confident type so hope she appreciates my scrapbook inspired card. I've never used flowers before, having two boys (& a hubby) I don't get to do 'pink' very often! :D

Good morning! Last night I made a card for one of my son's schoolfriends. Because I'm (back) into making cards again, any excuse to make a card is good - and that includes any birthdays of friends of my sons. Do any of you make them for your children's friends or do you always buy them? (I will post a pic later, just need to do some finishing touches).

    Hi Qwiksave,

Fab card for your son's friend - I'm sure she will love it.

I do make cards for friends kids, and my children's friends, but I pick who I make them for very carefully, since I made a ManU card for my DS1 best friend's birthday who was 10 back in February, and when I asked if he like it he said 'it was OK but why can't you do what normal people do and buy a birthday card'. Have to say that he isn't known for his tact, so maybe I took it the wrong way but it did upset me a little knowing how much time I spent on it. I won't now make card for either of the 3 kids in this family, but will for others who I know will appreciate them. If I have to buy a card, then we have a card shop near us that sells a huge range for 30p a card, so I buy from them:D
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
