ZLS1984 - welcome back, we missed you. Looking forward to seeing your cards again. Hope your feeling on top form soon.

    Jailhouse - what a fab card :T
Gemm - glad you like the dolphin card. Want me to make you one, so that you can be tranquil all the time !! PM me your address if you do, and i'll happily make another one. Hope you had a good day off. You'll have a fabulous time in dubai - we went there almost 2 years ago on honeymoon, and I loved every minute of it. Where are you staying? We spent a few days in the city, then moved out to the jumeirah beach hotel for 5 day. I'd go back every year if I could afford it - so I am very jealous of you :p.

The Wife - fab coffe card and I absolutely love the flower birthday card - what paper did you use as it is beautiful? :T

Saveapenny - fingers crossed the price of the cruise comes down, you certainly deserve it after the week you have been through.

Bunbun - lovely challenge card. Well done. :T

I'm off to New York with a friend for 5 days in June. Has anyone been, who can recommend some craft shops to look out and visit within downtown manhatten. Thanks
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

npsmama your card on your blog is fab

the wife fab cards - I love them both. thanks for the link for sizzix dies (not that I have a sizzix machine!). I was looking at them in the local scrapbook shop at the week end - will have to save for one! I won't be buying it from there though as it was much more than elsewhere - most of their things were more expensive. the lady in the shop was telling me that an electric sizzix is coming out very soon!!!

zoe good to see you back

    jailhousebabe love your surf card

saveapenny have you had your cuddle yet!

Bunbun2 - great cards - well done!! I love the paper at the bottom of your water challenge card.
Cgcockcroft - sounds like you got some great stuff! At the N.E.C show (the only one that I've been to), there were a few supplier's stores - but it was mainly people from online craft stores that were there.
The_Wife - lovely cards - really pretty! I've got those Laura Ashkey papers and I've never used them! I really like the sentiment on the coffee one.

ZLS and Violetta - welcome back!
Hamish - I've bodged up. I ordered 10 individual markers yesterday, then changed my mind and asked the seller if I could swap - so I chose to get a manga starter set and an add on manga set. Then I realised that by doing that I had ordered two duplicates sets of pens - so I've just changed it yet again so there's no duplicates, but now I've got no skin colour ones or greens. So I think I'm going to order another set.

i'm quite looking forward to the show at harrogate has anyone else been there or to any big show around yorkshire?
    sorry it's really bitty!

I've been to Harrogate 3 or 4 times. It's mainly shops but you can usually pick up some good deals but different things are different prices on different stalls. Go on the Saturday if you can as some of the bargain bins can empty out quite quickly. There is normally a stand that does 3 mags for £5 if you're looking for inspiration and a stall that does cheap Penny Black rubber stamps.

I check prices online for things I want before I go but mainly go for the demos and to get inspiration from the sample cards on the stalls. Take a paper and pencil so you can jot stuff down as not everyone will let you take photos.

Not sure if I will be going next time but will definitely be going to Doncaster. Although it's smaller it's a lot of the same people and I stop at the outlet park on the way home :D.
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Beautiful cards everyone, so many to mention that by the time I got to post I couldn't remember who had done what!

I am afraid I haven't done the water challenge, I am trying to find a picture OH took about 2.5 years ago which would be perfect, although I can't find it but am still looking. Hopefully I can find it and then I can give the challenge a go.

Here is a card I have made for my DD's birthday (end of may) apologies for the rubbish pic but I couldn't get the glitter to show without the flash so left the flash on. In real life the number 2 is actually a vivid orange glitter card.

Mumhug - I've just checked out letraset's site and their prices are quite good - plus its free delivery over 10 quid spent. The only thing is their prices don't include the v.a.t until you go to checkout.
There are two other online shops that I've found that sell them:
    angel crafts: http://www.angelcrafts.biz/index.php?cPath=6_155_528
their prices are the cheapest, but their postage is 3 quid.
The second one is this one:
    http://www.sillymonkeycrafts.co.uk/index.php?cPath=52_56
their prices are a bit dearer, but its free postage over 25 quid spent.
There is a promarker social group on UKscrappers and a lot of people on there recommend starting off with the manga sets
