Saveapenny - I'm still having trouble with the site - whatever link I click on just sends me to the "maintenance" page, even if i try googling yuku!!
Well - things have got worse - I am now a 34 year old woman with nits!!! I noticed today that my youngest son, who has been growing his hair for about 5/6 months has them, my Oh had to cut all of his hair off. Then I found a couple of lice in mine - so I must have caught them off him. I have been sat combing through my hair for ages - I have very long straight hair!!0 -
Ohhh that sounds like a good haul of stash! A very sensible one too may I add, lots of useful things in there unlike myself who just gorged on paper..:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0

Pinkladymel - my son looks like he's ill. His hair was his pride and joy - he loved it, so we felt really sorry for him. He seems okay though - he keeps asking if all the eggs are gone now!! I've been reading up on how to treat it and at the minute I'm just combing it through when my hair's wet rather than use chemicals as I've heard it can be dangerous when you're pregnant.0

Mel you can still get certain ones which can be used when pregnant.
If you use conditioner then you should be able to comb them out ok when you still have conditioner in your hair.
Also tea tree oil, or a tea tree conditioner or something as that is supposed to be a repellant.
Sounds like you are having a bit of a rough ride at the minRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Poor you Mel, lice have been in my son's class at school for blooming weeks and weeks. Jack hasn't had them but I bought lotion in case. The pharmacist advised I use tea tree shampoo and conditioner on him all the time as lice hate the smell so are less likely to jump on his head. You'd need to check tea tree is ok for you to use but I'd recommend it. Mine was something like £1.50 per bottle from the local chemist. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
