Which leads me to a quick question:
MakingMemories eyelet setter or crop-a dile eyelet and snap punch?
All opinions welcome
the reason I choose the crop o dile over the silent setter (which just sets eyelets):
'The crop-a-dile effortlessly punches two different sized holes and sets multiple eyelet sizes; plus it has a 2.5cm reach - great for bucket-shaped items. It punches silently through paper, fabric, leather, plastic, wood, acrylic and more; and because no force is needed anyone can use it.'
crop-o dile every time for me jailhousebabe!! I love it! you might want to look at this one though:

Although I have lived without a case for mine :rotfl:so is it a bargain or not lol:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
I still can`t log onto crafty place:(

Crop o dile crop o dile crop o dile (do you get the idea)
I have a making memories set of eyelet punches and couldn't get on with them at all but my crop o dile big bits is almost my fave gadget - a very close second to my cuttlebug.
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Sally ...I love your cards
The greem one is a brillaint idea and looks lovely, The gems on the black one really set it off, I have that paper and thougth it look a bit bland but you made it look good
The dog one as to be my favourite, My sister is into Radley bags big time, so I might be getting inspiration ( another word for stealing) your idea
BunBun...nothing yet, they are doign a sweep ( what ever that is) on Tuesday
Jailhouse ...I have copied your reply over to CP i hope that helps the lady from over the pond find her bargains
CraftyGran and Jaihouse ..Im sorry your still having problems logging in I wish I knew more abotu the site to help you . I will go through the help files see if there is anything there
PrincessPoppy...brillaint bookatrix I love your design and colours...have you tried from the Yuku main page?
Thanks again for all your congratulation on the DT
I had 1/2 hours play with some of the papers and they are out my comfort zone but I will give it a try. There are a lot of distressed stuff which I dont use so I tried something with the more funky papers, Im not 100% happy with it I will post it later and see what you thinkIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -

Hi Kim, I've just been browsing craft shops (as you do!) and found this info on the xcut impress. Hope it helps - they also sell diecuts for it here:

I love my cuttlebug as it cuts and embosses both the cuttlebug and the sizzix dies (not the bigz though)- I had a sizzix sidekick before which is like the impress machine but wanted something a bit bigger. The dies are a bit expensive but I use it loads.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Well done on your win Kim!
The xcut is a smaller die cutting and embossing machine which means you would only be able to use the small dies in it.
The perforated stencils look great for this and you would be able to create beautiful stitched detailed cards.

With something bigger like the Cuttlebug or Big Shot you would be able to use the bigger dies and embossing folders.
I have the Cuttlebug and totally love it.

Kim, love your first ever card, it is perfect as it is and needs no tweeking, well done :T
PrincessPoppy, wow your bookatrix is fantastic, you are so clever. My board has arrived but need more A4 card to practice with (and the time to do it too)
Sally, I love both of your thank you cards and the dog card :j
Flourgirl, thanks for the stitching freebies, have printed them off. Just need a couple of weeks off to do everything I'd like to
PLM, off to look at the site you posted, 30% off is fab :A
Sorry Rusty, didn't see you'd given me the award too, hope your back is feeling much better x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
