For all you ladies having trouble getting into the craftyplace forum. I found that a yahoo email is difficult (I've had problems with other forums on that network) so I got in using a different email than I usually use.

Thanks Kim for the info about the 'best wishes', the whole of the stamp is great - that cake and candle look like they would make a good card too.

So now I know what booktrix means! What a beautiful card, Poppy..

Sally, I like your collage effects for the dog

I got a lovely Easter card from an online friend, it was large and had a front section that had a detachable bookmark. What do you call that sort of card?

Welcome to OAP I am sure you will spend many happy hours on this thread, and spend lots of money too as naughty girls keep posting links for bargains;).

Kim you can use any needle really as long as you can thread it. Just be careful if it is a sharp one don't prink yourself and bleed on your design:eek:

Sally your cards are fab:T, the green one is so pretty and the Radley Dog is so cute

PPP I love your bookatrix card such pretty colours:T

    All opinions welcome :p

Crop-a-dile...I hope so anyway as I'm waiting for my delivery from QVC for one!!!

I've been making some Christmas cards - yes, already!!! :xmastree:

    They're on my blog: http://justbecauseitmakesmesmile.blogspot.com/

    Sally ...I love your cards
The greem one is a brillaint idea and looks lovely, The gems on the black one really set it off, I have that paper and thougth it look a bit bland but you made it look good
The dog one as to be my favourite, My sister is into Radley bags big time, so I might be getting inspiration ( another word for stealing ;) ) your idea

Thanks everyone and Saveapenny, I'm very chuffed now, that's a big compliment you saying you love my cards, as I always admire yours so much!

If you want I can send you some of the dog cut outs, as I have loads - there's also some smaller ones too - you've been kind enough to help me out in the past so let me know and I can pop them in the post to you.

Hi Bunbun, thanks for your comments too - much appreciated.

    Sal

Yes and no. The red bits are Christmassy red velvet ribbon: I got it for 99p from here and I heartily recommend it, it's wonderful stuff! I also bought the white velvet one :o although they don't seem to have anymore.

Saveapenny I think you need to put Melanie Marshall in as the referrer if that makes sense.
