Ohhh that sounds like a good haul of stash! A very sensible one too may I add, lots of useful things in there unlike myself who just gorged on paper..

I bought too and added your name ;) I have ordered silicone glue (never used before but wanted to try and it was a nice cheap price); glue dots, Bazzill cardstock; Crate Paper Twirl papers and matching tags; Bazzill chipboard flowers in green... very reserved really ;)
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

Saveapenny - I'm still having trouble with the site - whatever link I click on just sends me to the "maintenance" page, even if i try googling yuku!!
Well - things have got worse - I am now a 34 year old woman with nits!!! I noticed today that my youngest son, who has been growing his hair for about 5/6 months has them, my Oh had to cut all of his hair off. Then I found a couple of lice in mine - so I must have caught them off him. I have been sat combing through my hair for ages - I have very long straight hair!!

    Melissa

Just seen this message re the head lice - my daughter caught them when she was at Junior school and it was never ending and what a job I had getting rid of them - I think it's because some parents weren't as stringent at checking their kids' heads so they kept getting past from kid to kid all the blooming time - it cost me an absolute fortune!!

Anyway, I tried absolutely everything to get rid, bottles of the stuff but eventually the little blighters became immune to what I was using - that was until I tried Hedrin - I found that was the only thing that got rid of them. Also the tea tree conditioner does help too.

    Hope this helps, good luck!

PML - I've ordered 5 sakura pens (stardust and souffle). I've put your name in the 'other' box. :D

Melissa - you poor thing! We've all done the rounds with our kids; my DD had friends whose parents just never bothered, so as soon as I got her clear she'd get them straight back again. DD always had long, thick hair - I'd heartily recommend the conditioner option. Use absolutely loads of it, and the little blighters will slide straight off with the comb.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Melissa I would recomend a 'nitty gritty' comb they are dear (about £10) but my little cherubs used to get nits all the time, I hated using chemicals.I found that this comb with tea tree conditioner works great. The comb is the best one you can get, removes everything. Oh and if you put on a little hairspray each day they cant stick in your hair. We have been a nit free zone for 2 years now:j:j:j:j

I've also bought from Scrapbooking Boutique, using your name, Mel, so looks like you'll be getting your voucher! :D

I also wrote in their message book how impressed I was with the fact you can see the products you are buying. Lots of craft shops online put tiny pictures on that means you can't see details. Some of them give you the facility to enlarge them - and they are the same size as the original! Grrr!
Even the bigger names like Create and Craft do it! Why? I will not buy anything I can't see!

Thanks again for the link, I treated myself to some Tim Holtz grungeboard and scrapbooking paper.

Thanks so much for everyone's advice regarding my "little problem". It's so embarrassing I've never had them before, which is strange as I've always had long hair. Hopefully I got most of them out last night - I only found a couple of lice so maybe I caught it just in time. I hate the smell of tea tree but I was adding that to my conditioner and them rubbing it in. Both my sons now have really short hair so fingers crossed Leo wont get them and Brandon should now be rid of them.
I still haven't ordered from scrapbook boutique - I was going to try and be good and use my stash up before I bought anything else, but 30% off is really hard to resist.

This yuku thing is really stressing me out. I've somehow managed to register by going through the "help" option, but still all its showing me is the "maintenance" page - I feel like I am missing out on loads of fab chat!!

Still on the subject of head lice I think I had them for the first time last year at the age of 52:eek: I never had them when I was at school, my 2 kids never had them. I was a childminder to 15 children over the years and still never had them. My granddaughter started school last year and after the first week she had them and because she had been stayin g with us we started itching, but couldn't see anything in our hair. I went embarrased into Boots and they recommended Hedrin. It's horrible stuff, makes you look like you've had your head in an oil slick, but it does the trick and so it should it cost £10 for the bottle:eek:. The teachers of some schools must have them permanantly, it only takes 1 person not to do anything about it to keep it going round.
