hi everyone, hope you've all had a crafty weekend
rainmac you've been a very busy girl, your blog cards are fabulous
saveapenny - very well done on your DT offer, how flattering to be offered a place like that, you should go for ithope your sunday lunch was nice and that the new addition makes an appearance soon!
OAP - welcome to the thread, you may have noticed that saveapenny's set up a seperate craft forum for us all over at http://craftyplace.yuku.com if you're interested in joining us over there too! things are split into topics so might be a bit easier than trawling this thread sometimes
Kim - lovely cupcake card, is that a stamp you've used on it! your layout is great
Sally both those cards are beautiful, I like the second one best, the monochrome look is so great
Thanks Gemm.
Green is my favourite colour, but I'm into black and white at the moment for some strange reason - lol
I made this card for my daughter's best friend's birthday, I think it's my favourite one that I've ever did, mainly because of the dog - lol

Kim - lovely cupcake card..........well done :T
rainmac - yet another lot of brilliant cards -how do you do it ? Like the idea of pre-stamper images (can imagine me trying to stamp something and getting in a right mess.) Is there anywhere I can get prestamped images from apart from e bay ? For some reason I don't seem to be able to get on there. Particularly like the Teddy bear one you did.
Best wishes to your Mum
Mary43, I have sent you a PM0 -

Hi saveapenny . Can't log on to CP yet - I have tried but am getting the maintenance page (I'll mess about later in the week when I have more time; I see help instructions have been posted). I could see your message though, just couldn't reply.
You've got it covered TBH - Hobbycraft has lots of wooden stamps, but expensive IMO.
Stampeezee I only discovered a few weeks ago; I only bought 1 stamp - clear to mount on acrylic block. It was a cute little bird for only 99p. It's quite a small shop but lovely, I'll definitely go back. It's a good idea to look at the website first to get an idea of what they have; they also have crafting events on the premises as well. There was a free session on while I was there, but as it was already underway I didn't want to disturb them.
There's also The Range (which you can link to from DoCrafts website). I bought my Smirk stamps from there; everything is usually just at RRP but it doesn't have a very big crafting section.
I'm really missing craftingbut I'm trying to be good and finish my last 3 assignments (then it's 3 weeks of exams ). I'm still reading the posts, just not finding time to post myself. I'm having real trouble accessing blogs as well; my srupid computer keeps telling me it's 'timed out'
Oh well, hopefully I'll be back soon xsome people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Some gorgeous cards everyone!
Here is my creation from today, with it being a lovely sunny day I thought I`d make a butterfly bookatrix in shades of lilac and silver!
My hubby described it as a card made using a variety of techniques, embossing, sewing, layering etc! He is really supportive of my crafting!
