Aww rusty wish I`d thought to ask you! I did have a good rake in John Lewis at all the lovely material and wool.
If you can help out with any shops that would be great for my next trip up :D

Hi Poppy, a few of the crafty places I know are out of the city centre so depends on if you can drive. There is a big craft warehouse which is fantastic and does everything from fimo to flowers, to weddings and everything else but it is a nice place to go, that is called Dainty supplies and is located in Washington.

WOW!! I just logged on to see what you were all doing last night while I was out and saw I had won the Credit Crunch Challenge.:j Thank-you Melissa, and thank you all for the comments about it on my blog.
I have never won anything before. Really though we are all winners, there were lots of stunning cards and all made so cheaply. Well done to all of you:T:T

Melissa I hope you are feeling much better and ready to get back to crafting, I have missed looking at your beautiful creations on your blog.

Saveapenny Congratulations,:T what an honour to be asked, I'm sure you will be an asset to them. Thank-you for all your hard work setting up the craft forum, I think we will all make sure it is a success.

The WATER challenge is ok by me too.

Rainmac Such beautiful cards on your blog. I will post comments later.

I have the award aswell, (Thank-you Cathy) but was confused as to what to do with it. Do you have to pass it on to 10 people who haven't got it or can we just pass it round ourselves?

It's a nice day here in Yorkshire and I have lots of gardening to do and plants to plant, so I will catch up with you all later.

As any of you that have the scolloped cards ever tried printing direclty on to th card? I tried it last night and for the most it worked well but a few of the edged got missed. Just wonderd if you had tried it and what print setting you used. I did think about trying the same technique as the printing on ribbon one I posted last night over on CP by putting the card onto a sheet of A4 with low tack tape.
    Any other suggestions?

Kim it doesnt look to me as it needs improving it looks fab as it is , Great papers
I remember posting my first card I was scared to death no one would like it but you have no need to worry on that score its lovley...well done

    Kim - lovely cupcake card..........well done :T

rainmac - yet another lot of brilliant cards -how do you do it ? Like the idea of pre-stamper images (can imagine me trying to stamp something and getting in a right mess.) Is there anywhere I can get prestamped images from apart from e bay ? For some reason I don't seem to be able to get on there. Particularly like the Teddy bear one you did.

    Best wishes to your Mum

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Mary43 - I can't think of where you could get stamped images from other that ebay. I have bought quite a few from there, the way I see it if I buy a stamp - you only get one image that you can use - but for less money you can get loads of different ones getting the pre-stamped ones - plus you don't have to bother buying the ink pads. Can you look on ebay - is it just that you can't buy anything?? If so you could pick the images that you want - tell me which ones you're after and I'd pay, get the images sent to your address and then you could just re-imburse me!
I still can't get on Yuku - it hates me!!! Please don't all leave me on here alone!!
Kim_possible - lovely card, perfect as it is! I love the ric-rac ribbon and the colours are really pretty!
Kitiaracat - welcome, sorry I can't help - I have never been to one!
I'm happy to go with a water theme too - my Mum gave me some cool seaside embellishments that I want to use - I'm not quite sure what with though!
