Gosh this thread is highly addictive!!
Wanna hear something hilarious? I think I have the Fiskar circle cutter but a) I'm not sure that's what I actually have and b) after owning it for 2 years I've never used it ...I think it's always seemed a bit complicated for some reason. Must dig it out...
Oh and I totally agree about just *having* to visit online craft shop sales and *having* to order something!!!
But then again, I too don't spend money on drinks, meals out etc...although with 2 little ones (and maybe another on the way...? I'm not sure but I'll buy some pgy tests next week) the Chupa Chups company have been getting more money from me than ever before (for the record though, I don't feed my kids sweets all day long but when they do get some it's usual Chupa Chups)
This might help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZz24Q1dBqwIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -

Is it worth it?"Finish each day And be done with it.

I have one, bought it when they came out, nth years ago. They are fab if you make cards often and chose your dies carefully. I was obsessed with script at this point and bought an alphabet set which I have used possibly 5 times and I think it cost me £100 and something quid. I have used things like hearts circles labels when I have been doing invitations by the 100's, but to be honest an individual die, has been used about 7 times. So, go for it. They are lots cheaper than they were and there are lots of people selling them on ebay. You get perfect shapes which you cannot always achieve with a craft knife & mat.0

Welcome back furry :T:T:T:T:T
We need to get thinking about a new challenge for next week. How about a shape theme - circles, squares...??? If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
I got the Cosy Christmas and Flourishes In Stitch'z sets, they aren't border ones. I would also like Merry and Bright but having trouble finding it in the UK. For the stitched bits I've done so far (which isn't much!) I have used DMC or Anchor embroidery threads and varied the number of threads to see what difference that makes to the result. I liked 2 threads which is what I tend to use for cross stitch.
Had an email to say they are out of stock of the flourishes onebut will have more stock in a couple of week, going to have to wait

Rainmac I attempted the fudge last night, it's still in the fridge trying to set
I think I've used either too much butter or milk but it tastes gorgeous! Yours looks fab!
Thanks Gemm :j
Mine set out of the fridge in about an hour and a half, I know the time cos kept going and prodding it (with clean fingers) to see if it was set  My MIL usually seems unimpressed by everything I do but seemed quite impressed by the fact that we gave her fudge that I had made and a bunny and rabbit made from flannels for Easter
Think I've got some brownie points

Do you any of you subscribe to any craft magazines?
I really like Papercraft Inspirations and I'm debating on subscribing.
I always get the Docrafts mag when I see it."Finish each day And be done with it.
