great cards skiergirl - aren't the self-made pram embellishments just gorgeous, I made one a while ago for a christening, its great for general baby cards too :)

rainmac - I am so glad your fudge worked, have checked out the pic on your blog it looks absolutely delicious, well done :T

I'm also one of those people who sees a sale on a craft website and can't leave without buying something :rotfl:

I don't know what it is - the stuff just keeps adding itself to my basket and checking itself out somehow

yesterday some of those anita's bogof cards just jumped into my basket at the craftsuperstore website!

also have been nagging OH for weeks that I deserve an easter present from him for being such a good wife :D and he's put some money towards a crop-a-dile (the smaller one) which I ordered from the QVC website, I thought it was quite a good price - £20.25 inc p&p and you also get a variety of 400 eyelets with it. artymiss has the same one for £22 excl p&p and with no eyelets so I came to the conculsion it was quite a good deal?

I'm so excited for it to come though, I want it NOW!!! :rotfl:

hope everyones having a good easter weekend so far, 4 days off from work is an absolute luxury for me!

Thanks dragonllew and Marg. I might pop down to Hobbycraft a bit later today (even less MSE as it's in a different zone so I have to pay extra!) but I'll check out the ebay links and see if I can google those for something a bit cheaper. :T

I agree with Marg...the Fiskar circle cutter is brillaint I love mine and use it all the time. Keep all your scarp of paper and card becuase like Marg said it does that practice to ge it spot on
I also have cut circles out of scarp card so I when I dont know the size of the circle I need I have a reference and then its easy to place the cut outs on m card or image and I can see straight away what size I need

Could you all vote for my mate Danielle's craft room being the bigest mesh , shes trying to win some storage

shes only about 49 votes behind the leader xx

Shorelines - welcome to the thread - I hope you manage to find what you're looking for!
Gemm85 - I hate waiting for stuff to arrive, I wish you could just order something and you'd get it the next day!
Rainmac - I really like the infuse papers - they're so rustic and the colours are lovely! Which in stitch templates did you order? I got the straight border ones, what thread do you use when you stitch. I've got some metallic thread but they are really thin, so I might have to raid my cross stitch threads.
Dawnteabag - yep I was talking about my kids not brads!!!! I ordered from a company once who sent me the completely wrong thing, they wanted me to send it back and they would refund me, but they said they wouldn't refund my original postage of 5 quid. It was only when I threatened to complain about them on a forum that they issued me the refund.

Blimmin 'Eck. I thought mine was bad, it is, but it gladdens me to know I am not the only one. Thing is if I clear it up I will not know where anything is.:o

I got the Cosy Christmas and Flourishes In Stitch'z sets, they aren't border ones. I would also like Merry and Bright but having trouble finding it in the UK. For the stitched bits I've done so far (which isn't much!) I have used DMC or Anchor embroidery threads and varied the number of threads to see what difference that makes to the result. I liked 2 threads which is what I tend to use for cross stitch.

Gosh this thread is highly addictive!!

Wanna hear something hilarious? I think I have the Fiskar circle cutter but a) I'm not sure that's what I actually have and b) after owning it for 2 years I've never used it ...I think it's always seemed a bit complicated for some reason. Must dig it out...

Oh and I totally agree about just *having* to visit online craft shop sales and *having* to order something!!!
But then again, I too don't spend money on drinks, meals out etc...although with 2 little ones (and maybe another on the way...? I'm not sure but I'll buy some pgy tests next week :o) the Chupa Chups company have been getting more money from me than ever before (for the record though, I don't feed my kids sweets all day long but when they do get some it's usual Chupa Chups)
