I would like to have a go at punching some of my own paper shapes. In particular flowers, circles and probably squares. Got lots of paper so feel it would be good to try it out!

Has anyone any experience of doing this?

What size punch do you recommend and where did you get them from?? I don't want the really tiny ones you can buy easily but something bigger that will be seen.

    Many thanks xxx

Rainmac - really classy card. I love it how you use a piece of aida with the frayed edges rather than framing the piece. Do you buy the aida like that or do you do it yourself?
Furrypig - I have only ever used one punch and that was a small flower one, so I'm not much help, I got it from Home Bargains for 99p ages ago.
    I found another sale : http://www.gorillacrafts.co.uk/
its 40% off everything excluding clearance items, the postage is 2.85. I got a few dovecraft xmas bits - the winter wonderland range so that hopefully next year I will actually make some xmas cards. The brads are good value, and I got a few bits of ribbon and some flowers, and I was really naughty and I got a 12x12 paper stack, the dcwv once upon a time one, I love the papers, I'll probably never use half of them!
    Happy new year everyone!

I forgot to mention before that gorilla crafts sells cross stitch stuff too, I didn't look at it so I'm not sure what they've got.

Its lovely rainmac, sure your Mum will love it :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • It's a beautiful card rainmac - perfectly suited. Hope everything goes well for your mum.

    xx
In a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!

just wanted to wish all my card making friends a happy new year!

You should be seeing more of me as one of my new years resolutions is not to buy any cards in 2009!!
  • If you still have them i could make good use of them
    Thanx
