Craft sale on at www.stamps.co.uk check out the 99p section also.
Thanks Kitekat - looking forward to a huge package arriving in the next couple of weeks. I spent £24 but everything was between 24p and 99p. Thinking about it, I wouldn't spend that much in a year on cards if I bought them. Oh wellsome people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

Thanks for that - Wood Green is my local WHS too, so I swung by on my way home from work this evening, and picked up 4 packs of the card blanks (as well as my regular dose of magazines). I'm sure I'll find a use for them eventuallyIn a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!0 -
Just heard some very sad news Beverley Todd has passed away. Apparently she had a brain haemorrhage and stroke over Christmas and didn't recover. I followed her blog crafty moments and had bought from her online shop Crop til you drop and I discovered her website from someone on here. I feel so sad for her family, what a dreadful shock. My thoughts are with any of you who may have known her as although I only knew her virtually, she seemed a pretty amazing person.0

Furrypig - I'd ordered from her site before and sent her a few emails as there was a few bits missing from my order, she was really friendly and helpful. I got a few emails recently as she had just closed the shop and I had a message to follow her onto a new website. Such sad news.0

Sorry to post after a sad piece of news and condolences to those who knew this lady. I don't want to start a new thread for my question as you all seem like such a lovely group...... I'm not sure of the etiquette & have no wish to offend anyone..........
The following advice was given about colouring an embossing using a cuttlebug:-
"If you want the embossed parts 'coloured in' you can use an ink pad inside the embossing folder, lightly tap it all over the folder on the inside then put your paper in, run this through the bug as usual and it will come out with slightly different shades on the high and low spots. Their fairly easy to clean with baby wipes afterwards. Hope this makes sense"
It did make sense - Can anyone suggest what type of inkpad I should use please? Are there different types?

Hello Marg!
I would suggest you use a slow drying ink, such as pigment ink, so that it doesn't dry into the embossing folder before you get it to the paper. In a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!0 -
