    How about a thin straw like the ones you would get with a kids drinks carton?

    Thanks for the suggestions The Wife and mumhug - the straw from a capri sun will be perfect and won't need painting or covering.:T

    flourgirl lovely cards on your blog. I love the pink petticoat ones! the celidh one looks fab:T
    I am going to have a go at using the pink petticoat images! what do you all use to colour them in? what works best?

    I just use my grand-daughters coloured pencils and glue and glitter

    Either wet or dry water colour pencils depending on the paper or card I'm using. Papermill has some lovely white card that has a slight linen effect and that works well with dry pencils.

    I am probably being a bit dim here but have I missed something with the pink petticoat images. Do I print them off and colour them in? Do I have to do anything else?!
