Making cards - Ideas for a card craft beginner (part 2)

bunbun Yes, there are all sorts of pens on the market for colouring in and glitter pens (Sakura pens). It's just what you prefer really, I like delicate and simple (like me) images so just use pencils then sometimes a bit of glue and glitter on the top. You could even leave them as black & white if you want. Then you can go to town on the background, matting and layering etc. There are a couple on my blog and saveapenny has one on hers too.0

bunbun look at page 126 post 2511 some more PP. Have emailed you.0

I have made these today, they are quick and simple. Using patterned papers, scraps of card and peel offs. I find these a quick standby when you have little inspiration but need a card. You can also use up your bits and bobs, so very mse :-)0

BunBun...have you got access to my photobucket?
If you download the image off PP and open it in Paint and tehn open what paper your using in paint as well...Then cut a small piece of paper and paste it the the top of the image like this http://s333.photobucket.com/albums/m373/SaveaPenny/Misc/?action=view¤t=blog_candy_flower.jpg
You can then pick up the colours to match perfectly with your image and no pens needed (only works with orginal TIFF images not JPEGS)
I pick a paper with lots of different colours on and then you can alter them by making them softer
I will delete the image in awhile because of copyright...Just put it up to show what I meanIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
Nice cards flourgirl - it's a good idea to have some cards like this to hand for 'emergencies'. I might try to do some with the papers that I know I'll never use otherwise.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0
