Went to slimming this morning, I had gained 1/2lb :-( so having just been to tescos I am sitting here with a cup of tea and a packet of Blue Ribands, only 99 calories each, trouble is there are 9 in the packet :rotfl:

Called at Stephen Smiths on the way home to look at the craft stuff, need things for mens cards, didn't buy anything as the prices seem astronomical  I think it's cheaper to buy online and pay the postage.

Great cards sheginch,:T I made a mothers day card similar to yours with the ice cream images from Pink Petticoat.

CT19720 The barn dance card you made was fantastic:T I was just thinking about copying that idea from you. How did you resize Wordle? Once I have that cracked I think it will be very useful for any man cards. Was thinking makes of cars, football teams or players, golf, musical instruments etc. What do you think?

Marg Hope you have better luck with your easter cards, there are a few easter paper downloads free on this site, might be of some use to you

Scroll down nearly to the bottom of the page, there are some mens papers on there too

    Hi Flourgirl,

Shame about the weight gain, but I am sure eating some blue ribbons will help you forget about it, and there is always next week!

I went and had a look in Primark today, and tried on some nice trousers in a 10 - they didn't go anywhere near fitting me, which is unsual so I am sure their clothes have got smaller. Of course it could have been that I ate 3 cream eggs in a row last night, which made the difference:rotfl: :rotfl: .

Re sizing on Wordle, if you print it straight out from the Wordle page, then it will be a whole side of A4. The only way for me to get it small enough for the card was to do a print screen, past it into paintshop pro, cut off all the bits I didn't need, and then save it as a jpeg file. Then go into word, insert a picture from file, and when it appears, you can drag it out to as big or small as you want. Having written that all down, it seems a lot of work, but it really isn't. HTH. The only thing to watch for is spelling mistakes before you print the wordle screen and import it into word. If you need a hand with it at any time give me a shout.

It could prove very useful for men's cards like you say. When I did my son's chelsea one, I added his surname to the list of players names. Took him ages to work out it was there.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Afternoon everyone, well what an eventfull weekend I had, my poor ds had his appendics out on fri night/sat morning bless him so I spent all weekend at the hospital. He came out on Sunday afternoon. I had made a couple of little mum books for the mums and two cards but unfortunately there are still in the cupboard as mothers day rather took a back seat. Luckily i have lovely mum/mil who thoroughly understood. So this week ive not been at work but instead of being able to craft i have been baking with my ds so that he can become a bit more mobile rather than just sitting down and playing his games. I do have some cards to upload and show on here but it wil be a while i think before i get to upload them.

Lovely cards everyone i have just had a quick look through the pages that i missed.

Thank-you CT19720. My DH is having a look at it now, I'm a bit thick when it comes to computers and need to be shown how to do something several times before it sinks in. Usually get there in the end though.

Only eaten 3 blue ribands :-)

    Hi Minimacka

Sorry to hear about your son. Hope he is feeling a lot better now, and makes a speedy recovery. Its horrible when kids are ill, as there is very little that you can do for them.xxx

    Lovely cards shegrinch :)
Sorry to hear about your son minimacka - hope he's right as rain soon. I've got a picture of that Calpol advert in my head now ;)

A lovely lady on freecycle offered a stash of card-making magazines today, and when I went to collect she'd included some lovely papers as well. I'm looking forward to putting my feet up and having a good read through after walking the dogs :D
I told her to have a look at this forum - so if you're there Deb, thanks again :T
