Hi JailHouseBabe,
Many thanks for the glitter papers you sent me, I'll have a play with them later and see which one is best for the cherry on the cupcake.
Thanks again.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
Hey all,
I'm going to be moving over the next couple of weeks so not going to time for card makingbut just wanted to ask a silly question. Saveapenny very kindly emailed some decoupage sheets.... how would I cut them out?? They look far too hard to cut out but I can't imagine any other way of doing it.
Thanks xx"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Flourgirl thats really lovely...You inspired me to have another go at stitch cards, I found a template on the net and I have been sat all afternoon with my feet up doing, Its been lovely
Tigzem...Best to use small scissors or a craft knife and turn the paper not the knife...Once you start you will be supprised how easy it is
Start with the biggest pattern so you build your confidence up doing themIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
Glad you all liked the Daisy and Dandelion cards, it's always more satisfying whenyou can make something for nothing:D
Saveapenny Glad to hear your stitching and enjoying it. PM me your address if you need any patterns I have lots, and will gladly share. We will be back home on Monday night.
Tigzem I treated myself to a pair of scissors from Pergamano, the are curved at the end, very fine and very sharpe, couldn't get on with a craft knife but the same principle applies to turn the paper when cutting
Mumhug hope you're feeling better soon
We are just about ready for going away, I'm not looking forward to the journey -320miles:eek: . Still once we are there it will have been worth it, we haven't seen them since October, wish they just lived round the corner.0 -

Evening all
Thanks for the link minimacka, I've downloaded those images and will have a play with them when I get some better paper.
Flourgirl - your cards are lovely. I don't think mine will be up to that standard!
mumhug - I find getting my crafting stuff out helps me; it's just having that time when you can focus on the cards or whatever and take your mind off everything else. Failing that, I walk the dogGlad you're feeling a bit better
I've been busy - I made a couple of cards on Tuesday; my first door hanger yesterday; and have put together a bit of a pamper hamper for DD's friend - including one of those cellophane cones with chocolate and marshmallows (can't really call it snowman soup at this type of year!).
I'll post pics on the relevant threads when I get batteries in the camerasome people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Thanks Flourgirl ...I have a few from when I used to do it before. I will see if I can get back into it ...lol I forgot just how much time it took to do 1 cardIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0

I have been looking through all your lovely cards and trying to get myself inspired again. I have more card making and scrapbooking products than a shop and need to get into swing of making some cards. Think will make a box of cards for hospice to sell as that got me in the mood the last time.Yearly Grocery Budget - £100.77/ £3500. January Treats Budget - £11.80 / £100.0
