I use velum mainly for wraps
I think it was Rusty ( maybe wrong) that recommende the Brother dcp 135c to me and I have never looked back its brillaint and ink is so cheap also seems to last forever
Paper...I use 160gsm and also cheap photo paper
I buy mine from Staples (160gsm) I think it was 250 sheets on buy one get one free for about £7.50. I have used normal copy paper but it tends to rip quite easy when you cut it so I would deffinatly go over the 100gsm
The last photo paper I brought was from Morrisons again BOGOF at £4.99 for 50 sheets. Most supermarkets have offers on photo paper from time to time just look out for it. Its great for images and decoupage
I use ordinary paper only for inserts
    Melissa...sending it today
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel

Saveapenny thank you for the offer of decoupage books, but I have loads at the moment, I inherited a lot from a friend, I also took advantage of some you posted a few weeks ago. Thank-you:beer:

Melissa75 Thank-you for reminding me to avoid QVC today:rotfl:

Skiergirl Thank-you for pointing out the do-crafts magazine, I will certainly look out for it tommorrow.

Regarding what paper I use for downloads, it's really the same as saveapenny. Good quality 100gsm paper, any thinner and it tends to wrinkle when it gets wet with the ink. For the decoupage I use Photopaper 180gsm or more, usually on BOGOF from The Cartridge People and free delivery.

I'm going away for the weekend down to Plymouth to see DS2 and family. We always stop at Cribbs Causeway near Bristol, they have a large Hobbycraft store, think I will have to look with one eye shut:rotfl:

Right must go and do the ironing and packing. I made my first two hampers today to take with me if I get time later I will post a picture on the hamper thread. I must say I am quite pleased with them for a first attempt.

Fabby cards Flourgirl - they are so pretty, well done. My favourite is the smaller one.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

saveapenny - hope you're feeling a bit better now and getting a chance to take things easy.

minimacka and flourgirl - in case you don't know, the new 'do crafts' mag is out with some of the daisy and dandelion stickers as a freebie

Can I just ask another couple of questions ?
When you all download stuff to print off, what sort of printer do you use, and what type of paper to print it off to ?. I presume ordinary paper isn't thick enough ??
    Thanks

I've got that mag, it's pretty good and I love the stickers :D The do crafts scrapbooking magazine Creativity Life has some lovely free clear stamps. I'm not a stamper but going to get a cheap acrylic block and have a go with these cos they're lovely.
