    Hi everyone

I went to the Make It craft fair in Farnborough over the weekend and bought 2 lovely templates that make lovely childrens cards - and large too. They can be used as a wall hanging or shelf display after the event.
One is a rabbit, the other a teddy bear. I have made the rabbit and here is a pic. I am not happy with the mouth, though it looked lovely on the display one on the stand where I bought it and I have tried to copy that.
The legs, arms, ears are attached with brads and so it is fully jointed and fold up flst to fit a C5 size envelope. The clothes are adapted from the template too and I added self adhesive paper lace. The ruler is a 12 inch one to give you an idea of the size

    Hiya furrypig

Apart from very expensive to get in to the show [though you can save money by buying in advance] it is worth going. I used to go every year when it was at Thorpe Park but this was the first time I had been to Farnborough. They are both 45 - 60 mins drive from me depending on traffic. I live in north Surrey, about 30 mins drive from Guildford.

You can get some of the more unusual things and the new things at the show, and they often have show offers. This year there were 96 exhibitors :j :j I thought I had died and gone to heaven :rotfl: :rotfl:

I am into card making, scrapbooking and jewellery making [my 'newest' hobby, like I needed another one lol!!]so the fact that there were exhibitors for all 3 hobbies there was great for me, thought there were only a handful of bead stalls.

I would def go again, but some stalls you just can't get anywhere near!!!!

A load of the presenters from Create & Craft were there too - the Glitter Girls etc etc.

If you go next year - wear light clothing, it always gets hot in there however cold it is outside and you might prefer to take a packed lunch as there are very limited catering facilities.

Yes it is an annual event - usually on over a 3 day weekend between late Jan - to late Feb.

I'll give you a nudge next year ;) :rotfl:
