Thank you all for your concern & good wishes for my holiday I am feeling better just a bit fragile.....
This 'card' has all been done on the pc and is aimed at a gap year back packer. The shape at the bottom of the challenge just looked like a road to me & I couldn't shift the notion so I did this.....Sadly it didn't work as well as I hoped & looks more like a seaside post card but time has run out.0 -
Marg very creative and imanginative i love it!!

Hello everyone, hope you all had a lovely weekend. I've not had chance to make any more cards yet, so hopefully this week I will.
Just thought I would let you know that B&M have some sheets of rub ons for 49p. I got two, one for a baby boy and a happy birthday one.
Not quite sure how well they work as I have never used them before but fingers crossed it all goes well.*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0 -

Right, hope this makes sense... cut the words off the sheet that you want to put on your card, place on the card face down and rub (not too hard) with a lolly stick or something else flat and blunt, lift the paper away gently and ta da the words should now be on your card
Great cards everyone :T

Hi all, Love all the cards on here, :T its great to get some inspiration...am going to attempt a mothers day card tonight....
I was just wondering, what you use as the base for cards..I have got quite a few of the pre folded ones with envelopes, but they seem pretty small and I have been watching ideal world this weekend a bit and they seem to use large card and it looks much better...
Hope Saveapenny is ok xJun GC £250.00/£12.40 NSD 3 / 30

saveapenny's husband - send her my love - I hope she feels better soon.
orchid-96 - I don't tend to buy pre-scored cards as they can be quite expensive. I normally just fold mine myself from sheets of a4.
Marg - great card, really bright and cheerful.0
