  • I was lucky to get mine then. I got 2 in fact. The guy in PC world was worried that I was going to use 2 routers in 1 house. I did mention to him that if I had 2 broadband lines using 2 routers wouldn't be a problem anyway. I tell you pc world staff know nothing about pcs. But when it comes to extented warrenties then they have to be the worlds best.

Ok so now I have a new problem. PC world had two different offers on linksys networking.

The £39.99 bundle above and the £64.99 bundle SPEEDBOOSTER Modem ROUTER AND USB ADAPTER. Now I don't want either of USB adapter or the PCMCIA card. So I bought both offers cos they were due to expire yesturday now I need to know which to take back. I intend to try and sell unused part on ebay 5p listing tomorrow. Anyone got clear advice on which I should keep - currently my logic says save the £25 and take back the expensive one.

  • Surely you have time to list what you don't want on Ebay and probably make a profit. If they don't sell then you can take back what you don't want. After all it's only 5p to list them so you arn't risking much.
  • Netgear are pants in comparison to Linksys. Netgear routers have about 5 firmware updates every week to fix the bugs the last update introduced.

Steer well clear of Netgear if I were you.
