Er, yes they would. They would use less fuel, so the cost woul be lower.

My council tax pays for lots of services for children which i don't use, so it probably evens out somewhere along the line.

Not really. Not having children is bad news for the economy.

Excellent, i am in bed (supposedly) doing some work and have strayed onto here. Seeing those two words 'carbon footprint' are excellent so thank you. I am instantly bored to sleep.
