Ha, me too. I just saw my old post on page 2. We did get the mortgage paid off in 10 years by the time we hit 38, that was last month. Signing contracts on a new house and a new mortgage next week though. Another 10 years should do it...0

Only just found this thread, I'm 29 and so is Mrs MM, started overpaying around 2 years ago. The only thing I would change if I had my time again would be to have found this site before I even took my mortgage out and have begun overpaying from the start?Millionaire in Training

Snap! I'm 29 too and started overpaying from the moment me and oh (now ex :eek:) took mortgage out in 2006. Still overpaying - though it's just me now:jMortgage free 08.08.19 :j

31 for me... wife is 29. We've had the mortgage for 5 years - originally on a 35 year term, to get on the ladder
Now 8 years to go on this one if we keep plugging away. Although I suspect we will re-mortgage at some point. Regardless of what we do hope to be mortgage free by the time I'm 50.0 -
