To post these opinions here (and that is all they are, your opinions), is about as appropriate as gatecrashing a children's party and telling them Santa Claus does not exist.

It was brilliant doing the last role call. I found 5 dogs, 6 cats, a pair of foxes, a piglet, a chameleon, a bear, a wolf, a monkey, a crow, a vole and a hamster. Like Noah's ark! :D

If anyone likes stats, our 3500+ posts was only outdone by Kaupthing Edge CHAPS Transfer, 5100+ !!!!

Didn't know abt that one. I moved funds into KE from Icesave early Aug to keep within the (then) £35K FSCS limit, opening a 6 month fixed term @ 6.85% and one 12 month @ 7.15%.

ING confirmed 23rd Oct that these rates would be honoured by them for the remaining term.

Or have I missed something???

Why? For pointing out blatent hypocrisy?

It matters not how any of us got into the position of having money in Icesave when it collapsed. This forum was a support to all of us who were in limbo waiting for a resolution - whatever it may have been. Most of us were not money 'experts' and some of us may have been naive or too trusting but it does not mean we are idiots. Nor does it mean we deserve to be the butt of your cheap jibes.
The support, humour and genuine empathy has been a tonic for many of us facing this difficult time.
If you feel that the best you can do is gloat then I feel sorry for you.

Ok, I give in. I'm moving over. No money in my account yet and 2 years to wait before I'm finally clear of the Icesave nightmare due to one of my fixed deposit rollovers  . But I've got to classify myself as a veteran otherwise it is going to be mighty lonely in this thread ;) .

Sloughflint has done the honours and this should take you there
It should pick up the hyperlink:

Erm, not all of us have moved on to pastures new, some of us are still here chewing the cud and grazing on soil whilst we wait patiently for the 2nd email.
