It would be nice if we had a thread where people who were 'stung' in the icesave fiasco could in one place discuss all sorts of issues related to savings and perhaps give each other any pointers or warnings in the future so we can hopefully be more prepared and hence avoid any more savings related scares; if perish the though any should occur in the near future!

For example I have savings hopefully on their way to NatWest and as yet am not sure where to put the cash, it would be interesting to hear what others are doing with theirs.

I followed Harrowing's instructions but was too scared to press the button. :eek: I've read through the forum rules and appartently this savings and investments area is meant to be serious stuff!:eek:

I think we need to start a new thread in what they call The Money Saving Arms, a far more suitable place for our sort of stuff. So I suppose I could open a new thread here Icesaver Veterans Association, post our final role call and ask any one who's interested to join us on a thread in the Arms. Chameleon is an expert I'll yell her.
