suesie is that what they told you is disgusting what is going on -I wil now log in account and try to claim will advise asap

Really sorry to hear your news St, please accept my condolences. (sorry this is a bit late, just reading through earlier posts)
  • Yes, lots have. Would recommend you have a go. If you can't initiate have a look at the 'balance made up to date' as current speculation has it that this might be the day before you can claim i.e if 25 Nov you might be set for a claim tomorrow.

Done it again........... this is a reply to Hellyboo

I am in same position as you but doubly so in that I have taken a 90day penalty on breaking old bond to fund extra in BMid as well as wanting to open KR.

There is some problem with the post here so withdrawal application took 4 days to reach Cheltenham and I know I won't get that cheque until tomorrow earliest. I intend to use PO next day delivery for both BMid and KR if funds on their way by Thursday.

Come on FSCS get a move on. I only have 2 simple accounts not 6 or 8 like some people.

Thanks for response. It's so difficult to know what to do, isn't it? Not too much to ask to get a whiff of one's own money by Nov 28th, but oh no, just spin out the agony till the bitter end. If you know the money will be arriving soon then you will be covered as I am sure KR will not clear cheques for a few days after receipt. That's what I'm banking on. Is PO Next Day Delivery guaranteed, BTW?

I hope quoting the Scottish play isn't going to put the mockers on the whole thing - we shouldn't have had the witches brew the other evening and we are due another dose of the blasted heath next weekend.

Yes, inasmuch as anything can be with PO. Acording to local postmaster letter goes in special mailbag and is signed for other end. You can also track progress online with special number.

Sorry to hear your news, St.

Still no sign of a 2nd email here. I've tried logging in and initiating, but I just get the "please bog off" message. Patience wearing very thin here, and considering moving from ticked off to thoroughly peed off.
  • On another thread (don't ask me to post the link!) 53 users have reported second e-mail today, far more than any other day I think. So perhaps they are finally ramping it up and you will all get yours soon. Don't despair its nearly there. icon7.gif

Have read the speculation about the cleared balance, and mine too says cleared balance with today's date. So by this time tomorrow I should be able either to lend weight to the theory or debunk it. Really hope it's the former!
  • ok am pretty much caught up now.
Suesie sorry to hear about your dad too.
Blimey don't know if I dare try to initiate without 2nd email yet!
