  • Hello

I was reading about how some people have been able to activate the process without receiving the second email and I was contemplating doing the same when I got home from work, but I have just checked my email account and it's there!!!!! All this and it's pay day too, I hope it comes soon for those who are still waiting. Good luck

Just checked my account again and still no luck, it seemed very slow though so some must be getting lucky!
  • FYI
Have finally received 2nd email 17:35 three hours after confirmation emails, and nearly four after initiating claim. Can confirm, continuing another theme, that when I claimed it said the account was made up to the 24 November (or whatever the terminology was), haven't logged back in since.

Glad some of your panics have been cleared up, I spoke to someone from FSCS at one point who gave me a pile of preverbial, and didn't change his tune until I'd asked to speak to someone else and he had 'consulted a collegue'. Come to think of he was a male too..........

Nilrem, someone on Moneysupermarket (one of the very few who haven't been given the go-ahead today!) was quite excited that where cleared total appears at the bottom of the statements there is also added today's date. She seemed to read this as her account/s were being prepared - perhaps for tomorrow. This seems likely as those who have had good news today report their accounts having been prepared the day before.

Sorry, not particularly articulate ... still in shock at no email and the prospect of paper route.

I hope this is right as both my accounts state Cleared Balance with today's date. I have a print out of one account on 9 October which does not have a cleared balance and prints from both accouns dated 3rd November which state Cleared balance as at 10th October. It is a pity that I don't have another since then but will check tomorrow morning to see if the date of the cleared balance changes.

Right! Do I risk sending off KR application form with no money still in bank and no 2nd email? 1 year or 2 year fixed bond?

    Advice please.
