I'm so sorry, The fall out from this crisis is going to make our Icesave problems, seem insignificant. Every day thousands are losing their jobs. I was very proud to attend my sons recent graduation, doctorship in genetics, there were literally hundreds of students graduating from Nottingham University that week. I just couldn't help thinking though, how many would actually get gainful employment, and the amount of debt they had incurredIn memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -

I do declare, iamstupid, that that is the first 'sensible' (i.e. non jokey) comment you've made all thread. Whassup?!0 -
Damn. Just got call from daughter and new love interest - they're going to be on an earlier train - and the glass of wine I had has gone straight to my head (after no lunch) and no sign of OH. If you don't hear from me again you'll know why!0

Another day, another non appearance of my second e-mail. I cannot begin to describe how wearying I am finding this deeply flawed process. It's like a war of attrition and the FSCS are winning. If I were a buddhist I'd be thinking that I must have been a very bad person in a previous incarnation.
Sorry about your son, Chameleon."L'enfer, c'est les autres"0 -

I think this is why we all make jokes. It's a way of lessening the worries that we all individually have about our lives and what's happening with our loved ones. I know I'm doing it. But we all have our crosses to bear and, in true British fashion, we get on with it. (I think the Jack Daniels is helping though!) You see I can't help it :rotfl:Sheryl
An Icesaver no more :T0 -
Sorry to hear about your son, Chameleon. That really sucks.0
