Has anyone seen nilrem this morning? He may have mail.
Oh Yeah I have had mail aright but not the mail I wished for, TBH I am getting so depressed keep checking and finding nowt that I am trying not too look now!
What a frustrating experience this has all become, it's actually worse than the blooming lottery (I don't do the lottery BTW) because with the lottery you know that the odds of winning are virtually nil but with the FSCS we all log on with high expectations but we always end up disappointed, well most of us do.:mad:0 -

It's Here, It's bl**dy here. Just this minute arrived.
You jammie so and so, god how we hate you!:rotfl:
we were going to promote you to Sergeant but now you will have to stay a corporal I am afraid!
God it must be a lovely feeling after two weeks waiting, imagine how we will feel when we get ours in two weeks time!:mad:0 -
Nilrem, amistupid said you'd been "knocking bits of wood together". You now have the chance to refute this disgusting accusation......0

Hi Nilrem
Totally agree with you
Start the day thinking "This IS my lucky day and I am going to be really positive" then get increasingly fed up as others get their mails and you/me/I get nowt
Get even more fed up when sanctimonious ****'s sing the praises of the FSCS - they need to understand the human psyche a bit better. They are only doing what they are paid to do.
Still it is important that we don't start getting !!!!!y amongst ourselves - there have been some really silly and quite unpleasant arguments on other threads -
Our's is about mutual support. End of lecture0 -
I scraped together £2,000 to put in a Saga one year fixed. I sent the cheque last Wednesday and the cheque has not been cashed yet. So have given up all hope of getting money into the six month fixed at 7%. I only had £2,000 in an easy acsess A/C, so waiting for the bonds to mature as the best option now.0

Birmingham Midshires, although having just got off the phone to them, I'm none too happy right now
oql61 - Yes, you are right in that you can continue making deposits until the 30th November
What I'm unhappy about is despite being assured that I would be able to transfer my Icesave ISA to them as long as we sent the cheque and certificate just as soon as we receive them from FSCS they are now saying they need them by 30th November!!!
This will be impossible as we won't receive the certificates until mid-December at the very earliest
