just had a thought , in hobbycraft they've got gold bags ( well they've got gold swirls on ) I think they're to put wine in but they're not as tall as wine bottles , at the moment they're buy one get one free, I was thinking of making bags of gold to take to my in laws for christmas day
they might be ideal ??
looked today and the bags are too big , but found some lovely gold organza bags 10 for £5.49 but I get my discount as I work there , am going to do bags of gold instead of pots to put on the table on christmas day instead of crackers0 -
its bit like childrens party bags"The purpose of Life is to spread and create Happiness" :j0

My local Tesco Extra in Rutherglen has their 'Discount brand" chocolate reduced. Its in a cardboard pack but has 5 smaller bars inside and the ones with caramel pieces have gold wrapping. The milk choc and milk choc with caramel pieces were reduced to 49p per pack, so pretty good for your Pots of Gold!!

Ok, now i am getting scarily excited about making these for xmas and i still have to wait at least 2 and a half months before i can start but i have just added to my collection for them, a box of 30 forrero rochet that are on offer for £4.00 in lidl so if you are planning on putting these in and are making a few it works out really cheap as tescos sell a box of 24 for £5.31, so if you have a lidl near you be sure to have a peek:j:j:j0

Do scratchcards have an expiry date on them? The pot of gold ones sound brilliant but I wouldn't want people to win something at Christmas and not be able to claim the prize because the date has ran out. Not a chance of Wispa Golds lasting more than 5 minutes in our house!D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0
